I'm sorry If this has already been posted. However, how do you think the opening credits will be in the movie? I personally think they should go The Batman route, showing the symbol only for a brief moment in the opening. Otherwise they have a chance to do something pretty extraordinary with the opening credits.

Again, sorry if this thread already exists. I couldn't find it on the forum:)

that would be cool i just started to make one :D

Ehhh.....is that really needed? I found the last Trilgoy's opening titles to be pretty dam nepic, so I wouldn't mind seeing something similar. As long as it's cool, I'm fine with it. However, I don't think a "Nolan's Batman" type of opening will work for Spidey.

I also pretty much liked the way Raimis films opened. Though, as they are going for a grittier aproach, I would personally like something along this;

Darkened screen, suddenly covered with webs coming all sides from the screen, finally making out a shape what appears to be the spidey symbol, and going through one of the openings from the web, we get in to the first scene of the movie.

That no-nonsense style works for Nolan's Batman. I want something more extravagant for Spidey.

no matter how gritty you want spider-man to be, it will not be as gritty as batman. something like the raimis is just fine

I think it would be cool if we just had spidey swinging with the actors names popping up on the side as he swung through. maybe on billboards. or have spidey swinging and freeze frames like a picture is being taken, and the actors names come up then.. I also think it would be cool if we had something like a montage of spidey kicking butt as the opening credits.

Interesting. But that would cost a lot of money to do for an opening credits sequence. Plus that would be like the final swings of Spidey 1 & 2 only this it would be at the beginning. And those were (epecially in #1 ) the best shots of Spidey swinging ,imo. So you don't want the Spidey swinging to decrease it's amazability (if that's a word) after the first 2 minutes. But interesting idea. Maybe that should be an end credits sequence instead.

I really loved the opening credits in Raimi's films.

Something similar to that would be nice ala a giant web with each actor inside a square of the web with titles underneath.

EX: Picture of Peter Parker/Spider-Man with Andrew Garfield written below the pic.

How about a black backround with blue letters and save all the fancy s#:t for the actual film. We don't need to have our ass tickled from beginning to end.

Raimi's trilogy openings were amazing. I want this time something different thought. It shouldn't remind us from past series.

Not EVEYRTHINg can be in a Nolan style. And NOT everybody wants it to be.

I don't understand why you directed that at me, I don't want a Nolan style Spider-Man.

^^ I meant in terms of the opening. That is, of course, if that was what you were implying.

No, I was implying that I wanted to see a simple opening credits. No spiders, lizards or neon webs of any kind.

I liked Iron Man's beginning. Just Iron Man logo and nothing more. Do Spider-Man need epic opening titles?

I don't care how they do it as long as it's great. I liked Raimi's opening credits and wouldn't mind something similar. However, I doubt it will be similar to that.

Can it be also, that it depends on the type of main theme they will have? As the opening credits seem to have the same feel as the main theme of the movie. Kinda like James Bond Casino Royale opening, or the Harry Potter movies etc. It seems there is always a connection, between the type of the opening and the movies theme.

Should the movie end like SM1 and SM2? I liked Spider-Man 3 ending. Web swinging ending isn't always good.
