Opinions on the voice acting in this film

What is your opinion on the voice acting in this film?

i liked them all except Bumblebee's i wanted him to be more Twentyish..not english

Jazz was on POINT... Optimus too.. Megatron worked... although i miss his G1 voice.. starscream and frenzy were good and i like Barricade too.. i especially liked that blackout didnt speak english

Megatron was very good. Ratchet was my favorite.
Optimus... I dunno... it sounded like him... it was "good!".... but he was kinda a d***--- and not very bright. So I found myself not in love with his character like I was really expecting.

I liked the voice acting. Enjoyed Cullen as Prime of course. Thought Jazzs' voice was a little too deep, Megatron I think I liked more than the raspy Megs from the cartoon.

Optimus was great of course. Same with Megatron. I really like Ratchet's voice too. I think it fit his character very well. Jazz as mentioned by someone above was a little too deep in my opinion as well. Ironhide wasn't as distinct. I think that voice could've been better. But I did love when he yelled 'Starscream!' He sounded tough. Starscream I don't remember how he sounded. If I had to pick my favorite was definitely Prime, second Megs and third Ratchet.

I liked all of it, though I wish we heard more from Starscream and Barricade had better lines.

Cullen is just..utterly fantastic.

In the city battle there was an autobot who kept telling Sam to 'run son, run'. Was that Ironhide or Ratchet? I thought the autobot calling sam son was great. It really showed how caring and accepting the autobots were to humans.

Jazz was a raging black man that had like two lines in the movie;

1 "What up *****es" or something like that. Forgot what the first few words were, but it ended in "*****es"

2 "You want a piece megatron? Huh? You want a piece?" all gangstered out. It was awesome.

The best were Optimus (of course), Megatron (No Frank Welker, but still pretty damn good), Barricade, Ironhide, and Starscream (he didn't sound like a b*tch like he did in the cartoon).

I thought Jazz was a lil low and hard to hear...
Ratchet was spot on and one of my favorites.
Ironhide was weird with an english type accent.
Optimus was got better and better as the movie went on.

Barricade was pretty freakin cool
Starscream seemed fitting (would've like to hear more, like him taunting the jet pilots or something)
I know people wanted welker for megatron, but Weavings acting style definately came through and oozed evil. He was awesome.

Frenzy...i wish was a little more coherent, but overall worked

I thought that most of the voice-overs were great; Peter Cullen is always great to hear as Prime, you could hardly notice Hugo Weaving was doing the voice of Megatron (which is good), IronHide and Ratchet had perfect voices, and I pretty much always pictured Jazz's voice to be acted by a black guy. Who'd figure Eddie from Family Matters would get the role. The only problem I had with it was screen time; it seemed like that most of the Decepticons really didn't have a say in the movie. For me it would have been better if you got to see more background and scenes on the Autobots & Decepticons rathers having the humans take up more of the movie.

Hugo made Megatron sound so awesome! He was so sinister sounding and when he laughed priceless!! As soon has he told the Soldiers ''I am Megatron'' I squeezed my girlfriend's hand hard cause it excited me so much. Prime's voice was perfect!! I am one of the few but I liked Iron Hide's voice. I freaking loved Barricade's voice! Hearing Starscream talk was awesome!!!! I can't get enought Starscream! Bumble Bee's voice suprised me but I liked it. I don't have many things about this movie I didn't love. Made this G1 cartoon fan have a geek Orgasam.

Just came back and i *****ing loved it. All the voices were great esp. Megatron and Ratchet

I'd have preferred it if BB had stayed mute. It just suited him better. Ironhide sounded too nice, i wanted him to be gruffer. The rest were fine.

Barricades i'm a little iffy about, i would have preferred to hear Keith David say "Where's Ebay item ########"!

All the voice acting by the bots was great . Of coruse without question Cullen & Weaving as Prime & Megs .

i missed the original megatron voice. starscream could have sounded a bit more like the toon version as well.
