Loving the bio from the toy, hope this is his story in the movie and explains why he isnt in Egypt in the finale.

Big fan of Optimus though, one of my favourite characters ever!

Prime is practically the face of Transformers and their universe, I really hope he gets a proper representation in ROTF and is shown as the bad-ass leader he can so often be. The scene his face plate being smashed in the trailer doesnt give me much hope of course.

Cybertronian Optimus Primal - A veteran of the last Great War that resulted in the defeat of the Predacon forces, Optimus Primal embodies many of the Maximal philosophical ideals. He is a heroic figure whose ability for self sacrifice knows no bounds. While he understands that war and conflict are sad realities of his existence, he has made it a point to study the historical and scientific records of past generations. He believes it is the balance that his idol, the original Optimus Primal, maintained throughout his long service. Beast Machines - Intelligence, experience, passion and skill are all crucial parts of what makes Optimus Primal the proven leader of the Maximal cause. His metaphysical views play a large role in the methods to defeat Megatron and the Vehicons. A master at the art of change and ability to actualize multiple mode potential in others. Easily the strongest of the Maximals. Can punch through most Vehicon alloys with his boastful fist. Capable of short flights while in Robot Mode, and Beast Mode provides him with formidable speed and strength on the ground. Will stop at nothing to save the techno-organic world of Cybertron and defeat Megatron.

Prime is a legend, everything seems better providing Prime is involved. The 86' movie for example....the best part of that to me was Prime coming to Earth and taking out all the Decepticons almost single-handedly. Season 3 of Transformers was also better when Prime made his brief appearances....Dark Awakening is a classic ep.

With any luck Prime will "Bonecrusher" any Decepticon in his way in this film...until of course Megs returns...although with any luck the fight will be far less one sided.

Is that the new leader or voyager? Either way, it looks a hundred times better than the line for the first movie...looks like I'll be spending a couple hundred bucks on TF's again this summer. And there I was hoping I'd only have to get the new characters...silly me.

THAT is leader class prime and from the video I have seen of him from truck to robot mode and those dual retractable swords he is a MUST buy.
