Oscar award winning composer James Horner killed in plane crash

Just saw this on facebook. Absolutely devastated, he was one of my favorite film score composers. His music for the Wrath of Khan is inspiring, and one of the best film scores I've heard.

My prayers to his friends and family. God speed Mr. Horner.

This guy knew how to score films. Every time I listen to this you know exactly what's going on. The music tells the story. So few modern composers do this anymore. Just brilliant stuff.

Very sad. Braveheart is one of my favorite movies, and he did such a great job with the score for that.
