Which would you rather see? We've only really heard it would be out of these two. Me personally, I can't see anyone picking the Vulture over the Lizard. We've all been waiting very patiently for the Lizard. He'd be a pretty different villain than most. Not to mention this whole "Vulturess" stuff has put a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to him now.

So I say the Lizard all the way. I would actually be less excited for the fourth film if they come out and say it's the Vulture.

well, I only REALLY want lizard. I'm keeping an open mind for either.

besides, none of this is really anything official, all rumor.

you know what I heard today?
doc ock is coming back from the dead, and will resurrect venom, goblin, AND harry..

see, just rumor.:oldrazz:

Lizard. But if Raimi chooses to use the Vulture,I hope he gives him a flight suit like on The Spectacular Spider-Man,cause that looks awesome. Not like that concept art of what Vulture would of looked like in SM3 with a trench coat.

They got that look from the comics.

I voted Vulture (no Vultress). Why? I think Connors needs to be a big part in this movie, and his family needs to be introduced. Let us care for him, bring on Lizard in 5.

Just an idea.

I have an idea for Mysterio, I posted it in the Villain Casting and Discussion thread here:
http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=331347&page=81

But out of the Lizard and Vulture I would say the Vulture.
I love the Lizard story, a scientist so desperate to regrow his arm that he tests on himself and becomes the Lizard.
But i would much rather see the Vulture, just because he would be very different than the usual Spider-Man bad guys, no experiment or accident, just a self made super villain. A guy who builds his own armored flight suit and becomes a criminal.
Plus the aerial battles would be cool and totally Spider-Man type battles.

The Lizard

I prefer The Lizard and Kraven in Spider-Man 4.

I think we've seen enough of those kinds of battles though. We've had mid-air battles with the Goblin AND Ock! What we haven't seen is a battle with a monster in the bowels of the sewers. Crawling inside and outside of pipes. Another aerial battle would seem so "been here done that."

Hm, a touch choice.....I guess I'd have to go with Lizard. Mostly because he's been teased in the movies far too much.

The Lizard, Kraven, elements of Kraven's Last Hunt mixed with classic Lizard and a dose of Todd McFarlane's Torment savage killing machine Lizard, no mind control. You've got yourself one b@d@ss Spider-Man 4 movie.

Agreed. That would be so perfect for the movie.

I guess I prefer Lizard but I wouldnt have a problem with the Vulture, either. No Vulturess. Ever. No original villains.

Yeah you do but doubtful we will see it . I'm all for ti though , I voted Lizard. If Connors doesn't at least show sign of transformation by the end of the film i'll be really dissapointed.

*cough*Spider-man 3*cough*

I agree. We need an arc for the films now, and since Venom was wasted in Spider-man 3, this has to be it. Connors is the arc for the next two movies. Therefore, I vote Vulture.

I agree that setting up the Lizard would be a good idea but I worry if there is even going to be an S5 if S4 is disappointing enough. I do like the Vulture though and I wouldn't mind him as a villain.

This is what happens when you use green goblin 1 and 2, doc ock and venom in the first three movies.

Like it or not, the next big 2 on that list are the Hobgoblin and Carnage.

Hobgoblin is not the next best thing , lol.

You know, I just voted Lizard, but I think it could be good if Connors' family is introduced (like Webhead said) and we get to feel and care for them. Vulture could be easy to tie in with all the science involved already with Oscorb and the goblins and Connors. Maybe he takes over Oscorp and uses the tech to become Vulture for whatever reason. Maybe somehow Spidey's fighting with Vulture could create or spur the creation of Lizard as a cliffhanger at the end (and Vulture doesn't die). Enter 5, and the city (and Spider-Man) is looking for a way to stop the Lizard. Peter doesn't want to hurt him/ it, so he has to restrain a little and is left with the decision to use any means neccesary or to try to save a friend. Meanwhile, Kraven is brought in to stop Lizard and Peter has to fend off Kraven while fending off and helping Connors. Peter's brains and scientific knowledge could be shown in looking for a cure for Connors. In 6, Toomes creates four villains from Oscorp staff and recruits Kraven to for the Sinister Six and Peter has to deal with that. You know.

Just brainstorming.

Tbh I would prefer Lizard but have no problem with Vulture whatsoever. Combine him with Electro or even Scorpion or Shocker and we would have a lot to look forward to.

I voted for The Lizard of course! Him being my favorite comic book villain! Although it might be better to set up his family first.
