I actually first got into the fandom because of xmen evolution so count that as three.

What a great idea having a pacific rim anime. I hope we see plenty of cool robots and I would prefer it wasn’t in the voltron animation style

The big problem is that they haven't announced an animation company or animation director, so it is only speculation on what it will look like and how good the animation will be.

Polygon have gotten way better at their character facial animation. Just compare Knights of Sidonia from six years ago to this. The quality difference is night and day.

Once again, the animation has that choppy framerate thing I can't stand. I don't get it. It looks bad. Stop doing that ****

I really dislike this animation style . The character design isn’t great either. It’s sad cause I was really hoping this would wash away the bad taste left by Uprising.

The humans having a choppier framerate compared to the jaegers and kaiju is... frustrating. At least the action everyone is here for is looking good. Hope there is plenty of it.

Anyway, set up looks good. Like the kaiju and the Jaeger we saw. Interested in what looks to be a new hybrid. I do wonder when its set, and I am fine with them avoiding referencing the movie stuff till later in the series.

The animation for the Kaiju and the Jaegers looks pretty solid to me, especially in the battle sequences but you guys ain't kidding about that choppy framerate for the humans.

As much as I'm still looking forward to this I'm pretty sure its going to annoy me throughout the show which sucks because it seems like an easy thing to clean up.
