The Oscar-winning actress gave up her crutches and hobbled around on a cane given to her by designer Tom Ford at the New York launch of pal Erin Lauder's new scent. Wearing a stylish Stella McCartney mini-dress and Christian Louboutin shoes, Paltrow was all smiles as she revealed the need for her latest fashion accessory. She said, "I just kind of bashed my knee really hard into a chair, hard enough to break it. I didn't realize it was broken so I kept working and exercising and everything, and then it turned out I needed surgery. I did that a month ago and I'm OK now... I'm just glad to be off the crutches."
