I don't have a problem with them. I was just wondering if it was in Spanish, that's all.

I did see "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," and liked it.

I meant "meh" as in it's alright.

    Fine by me.

Are you really gonna flame me for possibly not liking it in Spanish?

No. I saw the meh and I thought you might pass it up because it's in subtitles. A lot of people in this country wouldn't give a movie a chance if it's in subtitles. We cool.

Yeah the music in the trailer is awesome. I really hope this movie is shown in a theater near me. If not, it's going to be painful waiting for it to hit DVD.

A theatre in Kalamazoo (big town near me) has like 16 screens, and shows indie/small movies, and I hope they will get this one.

October 20 is the premiere of Pan's Labyrinth (El Laberinto del Fauno) in Mexico.
I'm trowing this out there for all those of you who understand spanish and live near the border.

Saw the movie yesterday, it's visually beautiful, great atmosphere and music.

If it weren't for Captain Vidal you wouldn't know which is more cruel, the real world or fantasy land, he's a sadistic bastard.

The make-up and effects are really good, he doesn't go overboard and don't look cheap.

It got got a "C" rating in Mexico, that equals R, i think it was mainly because of the violent deaths and language.

Once again, Guillermo del Toro shows directors all over the world how to make horror films.
I loved the hell out of EVERYTHING in this movie.
    10/10.

Man, I'm getting tired of this.

Everyone else in the world seeing the movie and saying it's better than sliced bread. I'll probably have to wait for the DVD. :cmad:

On a lighter note, Pan's Labyrinth still has a 100% over at Rotten Tomatoes.

And for those of you dreading the subtitles, the movie is not really dialog heavy.

I don't know. I liked the movie, but I got out of the theatre thinking that something was missing. I liked "El Espinazo del Diablo - the Devil's backbone" more.

I love foreign films, so subtitles are no problem with me. I just want to see the damn thing.
