Synopsis: In the August 17, 2012 release, a small town comes under siege by zombies. Who can it call? Only misunderstood local boy Norman (voiced by Kodi Smit-McPhee), who is able to speak with the dead. In addition to the zombies, he'll have to take on ghosts, witches and, worst of all, moronic grown-ups, to save his town from a centuries-old curse. But this young ghoul whisperer may find his paranormal activities pushed to their otherworldly limits.

The voice cast also includes Casey Affleck, Tempestt Bledsoe, Jeff Garlin, John Goodman, Bernard Hill, Anna Kendrick, Leslie Mann, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Tucker Albrizzi, Alex Borstein, Jodelle Ferland and Elaine Stritch.

Imagine if this was not animated. How could wouldn't it have been?

Yeah, I'll be watching it too. I thought Coraline was pretty good.

Loved Coraline. But I gotta say, I think ppl will love this just for the fact it has kids with zombies. Animation looks a bit meh in comparison to Coraline though.

It looks to be a good year for stop motion animation.

Think again.I PMed a mod and he told me that I'm not doing anything wrong.:yay:

People on the Hype aren't used to seeing positive reactions to things. If you just made every post into: "Meh, this looks terrible. Why can't they make good movies like The Warriors/Ghostbusters/Rocky Horror anymore" you'd fit in just fine.

I'm really excited for this movie. It's so cool to see that there are people out there who want to make darker stop-motion movies for kids. I'll definitely be seeing this in 3D.

One of my most anticipated films of the year.It looks really cool.

saw this preview in hugo and muppetts, i think it looks great. will be more enjoyable closer to halloween. just has that fall feel.

My three-year-old niece loved the trailer that played in front of The Lorax. While we were driving home after the movie it stood out enough for her to tell us that she wanted to see "that movie with the ghosts and the witch". This is the same kid that was too scared to go up to a small fake haunted house last Halloween to get her candy, so I was very surprised to hear that.

I just got back from seeing it, and I'm disappointed. I think I was expecting something darker, like Coraline was, but I guess you really can't ask that of people who were trying to do something different.

I saw this the other night, and I think I may have to alter my top ten list for the year.
