I doubt they would do this. I 'm not sure Singer would bring a X-men friend over as a villain or in this cast. I however think Patrick Stewart has the perfect intelligenace and voice for the part of Brainiac. Does anyone agree that Singer should consider Stewart for the role or Brainiac or maybe Ian McKellen since they work well together too.

Whos to say not one of them would be Bad Guys

Sweet I love this idea! Especially if it is the Silver Age green humanoid Brainiac!

All I would see is Patrick Stewart/Professor X. Unless he only did the voice for a CG Braniac.

Patrick Stewart has played villains before. Also do consider that Brainiac doesn't have a Wheelchair.

Stewart would be a great Brainiac voice but too recognizable as Professor X for the voice.

I'd rather they go with someone more unique.

Heck NO! toooooooo overexposed in the comic/sci-fi world!

Ya if hes tied to the Crystal tech forming in space, it WONT be the silver age Brainiac version.

Theyd never be able to pull Silverage Brainiac off on screen either.

Patrick Stewart Or Sir Ian McKellen.

Oh Ian McKellen's even WORSE! ...Like i didn't see him coming in Divinci Code! too many big movies for Ian. He just passed Christopher Lee for 'most overexposed wrinkles in a series of consecutive blockbuster movies!'

Hugo Weaving, even though he basically played him in 3 movies. But he can do it with ease, and do it right.

Patrick Stewart is more in likely to play Brainiac. He has a lot of experience of playing people that are really smart. Professor X is among them. So I can see him playing Brainiac.

Hugo Weaving for Zod, dammit!

For my feelings on Hugo Weaving see my sig ;)

As for Brainiac Stewart would be a good choice. Not sure if he'd be my top pick though

Hugo would be perfect for Braniac since he knows how to be roblike like as Agent Smith

Why doesnt Patrick Stewart just do a one-man show?

He could be Jean Luc, Professor X, and Brainiac all in one!!!

Stewart isn't my first choice. I'd personally rather see Hugo Weaving as Brainiac. However, I think that if Stewart did do the role, he would definitely do a good job. His age though would probably present an obstacle with regard to going head to head with Superman in a battle though.

The more I see and read though, it looks like Singer will likely try to find a way to use Zod, so he can explore more of the Kryptonian themes. It's sad, and Singer did a horrible job on SR, but unfortunately, this is what we will probably get.

As for a Silver Age Brainiac, that's pretty lame, IMO. :down

I'd much rather see the STAS Terminator-style of Brainiac.

Stewart's voice is too recognizable already. its like casting James Earl Jones and trying not to think of Darth Vader.

why not Kevin Spacey? he does great impersonations, changing his voice should be a walk in the park for him.

Actually, now that you mention it, Patrick Stewart could be terrific.

Stewart..maybe.

Weaving...I'd say no because it will remind me to much of Agent Smith.
