Pepsi-Flavored Cheetos Exist, Prepare For The Apocalypse

According to contemporary consumer taste buds, a simple glazed donut or cheeseburger is no longer enough. No, we demand innovation and by "innovation" we meet bacon-infused-ice-cream-stuffed-into-a-deep-fried-meat-patty. By innovation, we mean the cronut, waffle chicken tenders and ramen burgers.

Our appetites seem determined to never eat another boring tuna sandwich again... unless it's slathered in Sriracha and Nutella. So, why stop at mashing together some of the snack world's most classic offerings? Yes, Pepsi-flavored Cheetos now exist.

"These Pepsi-flavored Cheetos are the latest food hybrid to spit in the eye of Mother Nature. They are from Japan," Steve from The Impulsive Buy writes. According to Steve, the Frito Lay Cheetos x Pepsi Shuwa Shuwa Cola Corn Snack bears a noticeable "flat cola" aroma mixed with the familiar smell of cinnamon donuts. The Cheetos are coated with a cola powder with an strong citrus taste that unfortunately overpowers the sweet cola flavor.

However, the Cheetos x Pepsi mash-up does have one redeeming trait: The snacks carry a distinct fizz with "definite popping and crackling."

While this particular bag was hunted down on eBay for $3.99, you can swoop one up if you just so happen to be in Japan.

Welp, here's to the end of mankind as we know it. Cheers, folks!

After everything Japan has, how are they not a fatter country? I'd try everything if I visited there.

That said, was anyone actually wanting Pepsi Cheetos? Are they still even considered Cheetos without cheese?

Yeah, why would you mess with the glorious Cheetos formula? If anything, just branch out like Doritos. Throw in some taco flavors or something like that, not Pepsi flavored.

Did they ever actually have or even taste like cheese to begin with?
More like crisp-puffed oil, with yellow #6 dust.

Those Doritos Taco flavors are sooooo good!:woot:

Imma need to turn on my fat mode soon and get a bag of those Doritos Locos Tacos

Only Japan could get away with this and have it come off quirky. If anyone else attempted it it would be met with disgust.

you know, I went to Taco Bell when that taco first came out, like pumped about it, and I didn't really like it. Feeling that way about something from Taco Bell made me feel empty on the inside. I love Taco Bell (although I haven't been in probably six months or more).

Yeah I never go to fast food chains (unless Im drunk) and at that point everything tastes amazing lol.

I have seen the bags of Doritos though at Publix with the Locos Tacos flavored chips too, I think that could be good.

Regarding the flavor......thanks, but no thanks.

Japan also has about thirty different Kit-Kat flavors (Green tea, strawberry, chilli pepper, etc...).

Anyone who eats these Pepsi cheetos crap deserves the stomach ache that follows. Nature did not intend any of its creatures to consume Pepsi flavored cheetos. And if you're going to consume a crap-load of empty calories you might as well use it on something that tastes good.

I wouldn't mind trying out the different Kit-Kat flavors...

You gotta wean yourself onto Japan's foods. You will get explosive diarrhea if you just plunge into that ****. And yes, this is from experience.

I'd at least try it. Probably hate it but... you never know.
