I believe if they indeed were to infact replace Tom Wilkinson this man should definatley be our next Falcone assuming this character is in The Dark knight. He should have been Falcone in the first place.

In BB Falcone is mad or possibly dead, I think we need new mob boss since Falcone was one of the old mob bosses. (I don't mean his age) I say bring Sal Maroni or Rupert Thorne in TDK.

Of course i've been around Italians, I'm half Italian. Wilkinson just sounded forced and fake, he was trying to hard. If i'm not mistaken, I believe in real life Mr. Wilkinson is British?

Indeed. Maybe there's some bias in there since you know he's not really Italian. I thought it sounded fine, and I'm around NY Italians every day.

Frank Vincent would've been perfect.

I'm a full blooded Italian, and I found Wilkinson horrible. Very forced and very fake. One of the weak links in the film.

This guy has been suggested for years because of his resemblence to the character and movie resume. I would have liked to see him in the role. Nolan felt like the character needed to be changed a lot, which i didnt really mind- Falcone as he appears in TLH would have come off a bit cliche on film if you ask me, doesnt have much to do with TDK either way.

There is no doubt in my mind that Frank Vincent would have only enhanced the movie! Wilkinson just looks to much of a nice guy for the role. Remember Vincents role in Goodfellas, what a pr!ck, and how about his role in the Sopranos now? If this guy wasn't Falcone, I don't know who was????????
