Sequels Peter Parker's New Pal? (Spoilers! Dont open if you havent seen SM3 yet)

With Harry dead and gone, should the story move forward by introducing someone else from the comics (or a previous Spidey flick) as a new friend for Peter?

Flash Thompson? A shame he wasnt developed more in the movies, as he and Peter eventually became fast friends and room mates in the comics...

Randy Robertson? Son of Joe Robertson, and eventually another room mate for Peter...

Gwen or Felicia and of course MJ will be the jealous-overprotective girlfriend-type who'll won't want her man hanging around some pretty-looking blondes.

Though, if it's going to be about The Lizard than you're going to have to build on Peter's and Connors' friendship. So, I think Connors will become like Ock and Osborne---father figures to Pete.

SM4, no one. Just make it about him getting married to good old MJ, but in doing so he needs to be convinced life can work like this for a superpowered figure and save Doc Conners from himself as the Lizard and from Kraven the Hunter (who buries Spidey alive and MJ has to save him).

The next movie should really be Peter and MJ making that last hurdle towards marriage.

Now afterwards you have Dr. Conners who could become a confidant of sorts in SM5. He could even help Spidey use science to defeat a seemingly impossible foe (Scorpion, Morbious even Morlun or someone. Not Rhino though, too stupid). Then in SM6 (if there is one) a new villain could appear (I hate saying it but I think the studio is planning on using Carnage at this point) and it would be ironic if Conners transforms back into the Lizard for SM6 but this time teams up with Spidey as Conners is in control and helps him battle the villain (hopefully not Carnage, but knowing Sony and Arad....).

That would be an interesting character arc through three more movies that kind of reflects Harry, but in reverse.

I's still like to see someone, in my personal opinion, Randy Robertson, begin a friendship with Peter...something that could be developed over the course of the next trilogy...

I'd like to see Randy Robertson come in, along with a stronger role for Robbie...but they'd have to be careful to make sure that Randy didn't just come off as a "Harry replacement."

Yeah, there's been a little tension between the Robertson's in the past, but no where NEAR the level the Osborn's expierienced...

I think it would work out ok...
