good question. i thought about it and shouldnt he be like 40-50. He was 15 in 1962 lol
If you go by TMOB's estimation 50 issues = One 616 year, Peter would be 27 today.
I reckon he should be more like 31 by now.
Of course, it's a redundant question, he will never age because he is Marvel's biggest character and that would be detrimental to his mass appeal.
The Parallel Lives graphic novel gives Peter's age at 15 on the day the spider bit him...during a flashback scene in the Alias comic book, we see the same accident as happening "fifteen years ago"...
That would make Peter 30.
Once upon a time, you could actually make sense as far as "growth" went with the 50 issues/one year ratio... and as time goes on further, that will probably increase due to not wanting Peter to age into his mid to late 30's...
But the formual came into mind when around ASM #400, they made the claim that ASM #150 happened 5 years prior, so 250/5 = 50 per one year. And when applied, it "can" make a lot of sense.
But remember, AliAs was written by none other than Brian "I don't give a crap about everybody else's continuity, I'm going to follow my own" Bendis...
Mid-20s, probably leaning towards 27.
I remember Dan Slott or someone saying a year or two ago that there's a 12-13 year gap between FF #1 (the beginning of the Marvel universe) and now, so that would place Pete around 27ish. Isn't the rule of thumb something like 7 real years = 1 year in Marvel time?
That's the rule you use for a dog's age...
Before BND I'd guess given what's happened and the way Peter/MJ acted somewhere between 29-31.
But with BND he has been regressed to 22-24. Yay.
Yeah, I said 27 going on the 50 issues per one 616 year, because to my understanding Petey was 16 at the radiology demonstration.
