Animation Phil Lord and Chris Miller present: The Mitchells vs. The Machines

Ok, something a little different.

I feel like they wanted to do this live-action but it may have cost way too much.

I am SO there. Lord and Miller gave me Spider-Verse, so they can do no wrong in my book.

Ha that's cute.

Yeah this looks like a fun time

This was great.

Just a ton of fun. Solid central story and a lot of gags. Reminded me of The Lego Movie in terms of how it's quite funny but also just constantly engaging visually.

My kids loved it a ton, have already watched it twice. Best comedic family film I've seen in a while.

Watched this last night and was suprised by how much I was laughing my butt off. Loved it and honestly it might be one of the funniest animated films I've seen in a while. The animation is truly beautiful and I really enjoyed all the fun setpieces. The gags with the Robots and the dog were great too and probably had me laughing the most, although alot of the scenes with the family were pretty damn funny too.

Yeah, Eric and Deborahbot (Beck Bennett and Fred Armisen) cracked me up a lot.

F*rby scene was EPIC.

Loved the Num Num remix and the Alex Lahey original song they had at the end. The kids want the soundtrack.

Oh yeah, Mothersbaugh killed it on the score, too.

Probably the early favorite for the animated Oscar next year, even if I preferred Raya a little bit more.
