Hey all. Been hanging around SHH for a while but this is my first visit to the forums.

I'm looking to go to the Philly Comic Con this year with my wife and kids. Our first time going. I'm really looking to meet Stan Lee so I thought I'd ask a few questions to those of you good folks who have gone in the past.

First of all, what kind of line am I looking at to meet Lee? I'm considering the VIP package but that gives me all four days of admission and I'm only going down for one day. Actually, I'm probably going to go down the evening before and get a hotel room. (I'll probably book that this week.) If I don't go the VIP route, is this something that I'll have to be in line 10 hours early or something like that? I'm honestly clueless as to how many people go to these things. I know it's a lot. I'm just making it a point to get this autograph so I want to make sure I get it. Any idea what he might charge for his signature?

Secondly, can someone suggest me something to get signed? I have a decent amount of comics but nothing older than 2006. I'm more of an action figure collector. I'm thinking of looking for a comic of at least some significance to pick up and take down with me to get signed. Any suggestions? I don't want to go too crazy.

Any other advice in general?

Thanks a lot.

I went a few years ago when Bruce Campbell was there. I waited about 2 hours to get my picture taken with him. They let people who bought the VIP package go first. When it came time to have him sign things, I waited until the line was almost empty and walked right up. I would imagine for Stan Lee the lines will be crazy.
When I went I stood in line and my wife went and did her thing. She went and met Patrick Stewart and then went digging for comics for me.
Check Wizard Worlds site for paying just for the Stan Lee VIP package and everything it entails.
