This picture immediately preceeded my first set of broken/bruised/cracked ribs. I was 16. I'm the one in the middle, btw. That's my cousin in the air (13 at the time) and obviously, I had to outdo him. We ended up with our bikes tangled and both of us in pain. And that's my even young cousin on the far right.

This one was like 6 months later and caused me to re-break the rib I broke in the first picture. You'd think I'd learn.

This one just hurt my pride. I thought I'd be awesome at snowboarding, but I sucked. I think I was 17 in this one, maybe 18.

And this one was when I was like 15. I ended up with my ass hitting the ground hard and lost most of the skin between my wrist and elbow. I still have a scar. :csad:

Ah, I miss those days. Everyone share.

I used to. Now I just go to school and go to work. :csad:

I'm buying a dirtbike. :o

No pictures to share, unfortunately. Interestingly, I've never broken any bones. I almost wish it would happen though, just for the expierence of knowing what it feels like, whether or not that's stupid I don't know.

Anyway. It's cool you were into motocross. I remember wanting to try it and never went through with it. :csad: And I had trouble with snowboarding too, and, like you, I thought I would be able to pull it off with ease. Damn. I should really give it another try. If I end up having any injuries in the meantime, I'll be sure to find a way to get a shot of it and then post it up. :o

I never really got into motocross, not racing anyway. We just did it for fun, though my cousin, the one doing the jump, is racing now and doing great. I want to try snowboarding again, but I haven't had the time or money to go.

:wow: you are more extreme than me.

Ummm....yeah, one time I was swinging on the monkey bars in PE in grade school...and swung off...and injured my neck when I landed on the mat. It was okay after a few days.

I had a splinter go through one of my hands in kindergarden (second year). Inbetween the thumb and that one finger. I cried :csad:. A lot.

I acidentally stabbed myself with a pencil when I was younger. I can still see the lead in my left hand.

That's about it. You beat me in the injured catagory.

I was 15, its not like I had huge boobs.

Women can have short hair, though I never have. It was pulled up. You can't see my helmet either but that doesn't mean I wasn't wearing one. And please, show me one male skater who wears tight jeans. :o

now aren't you glad I told you to hold off on the breast enhancement surgery? :yay:

Why the hell are you hiding your face?

I feel I should point out to you she's not hiding it in her snowboarding pic.

you won't find many female skaters wearing tight jeans either... you just shouldn't wear tight jeans while skateboarding. :o

Well, you can't really see it as closely as the skateboarding pic would be.

Someone post something. :csad:

You are talking to bunch of comic book geeks.

The extent of their injuries are wedgies from seniors, carpal tunnel syndrome from video games, computers and *********ion.

Still, her face isn't exactly obstructed, except maybe the lower half. The photo is just really small. :o

You neglected to mention the odd trample injury from convention stampedes.

haha injuries! yes!

one of my coping mechanisms for traumatic things is to take pictures of them... car accidents, face accidents, etc.

This was in January. The guy on the right jumped up for a frisbee in a very crowded game of ultimate and landed with the point of his bent elbow right on my face just below my eye. The kids there said it was like a Quentin Tarantino movie... most of the blood was all over the gym floor. The best part was it was Friday the 13th. I got 13 stitches... 6 internal 7 external because it went all the way down to the bone.

Gross!
