So basically I'm trying to get a collection going that represents 6 major factions:
- The JLA
- The JSA
- The Teen Titans
- The New GL Corps
- The Outsiders
- The Rogues Gallery

Its a work in progress and I'm about 50% done.

Great collection, I'm happy to see my Boy THE Big Red Cheese in that line up next o'l Big Blue.

I still think DCD would be so much cooler if their toys could do more than stand up straight.

Like what? The DCD collecters tend to be an older audience who dont exactly play with toys anymore, just collect and display them.

I know, but standing up straight makes for a very BORING and monotonous display.

Most of the superposable toy lines, like Marvel Legends, Street Fighter, Mezco's Hellboy, and other such toys that have joints that allow for dynamic poses and the like are also intended for and bought by older collectors who display them.

Well DCD toys have pretty good articulation, I tried to display them as dynamically as possible without overdoing it.

You should get the JLA Boxset CrisisSupes.

You do have a Supes and WW but the black/gray Batman (repainted silverage Batman fig), John Stewart and Aquaman would be great additions to you collection. TheJohn Stewart looks alot cooler than the first one, the Aquaman looks cooler than his orange shirt counterpart and the Batman looks damn cool since he's in black/gray costume.

I just got the JLA boxset and love it.

I just got the JLA boxset and love it.

Ya I've seen it. I like the original versions of Superman and WW better than the boxset, the differences are slight though.

Batman I wouldnt mind, but I still like Jim Lee's Hush Batman the best. The blue tends to almost glow with the blue lights in my room.

John Stewart isnt bad but he reminds me too much of the JL cartoon version there, with the blank eyes etc. I wanted the DCD original verison because he looks more human.

Aquaman..I prefer the classic version. I'm waiting for the Alex Ross version of Aquaman, coming out in a few weeks to add to my League. He looks the coolest IMO.

Oh, yeah, the Alex Ross Aquaman is best. And his triton staff is vey cool.

I also wish they didn't change the WW because the boxset WW doesn't have gold accents, they're yellow.

I didnt even notice that. I just noticed her face looked different, along with Supermans.

That trident staff is badass, thats the primary that I want the Alex Ross AC.

I hope Alex Ross makes Hawkman, then I'll definately get that. The 2006 IC version of Hawkman looks too cartoony.

and Secret Files Jonn Jonz is probably the best version of him..

and then the main Leaguers will be complete!

Oh yeah, I already pre-ordered the Jonn Jonzz at my comic shop along with the Batman and Batgirl. The Jonn is great, he'll fit very nicely. And the Secret Files Bats is cool re-paint of HUSH Bats that I personally like since I'm more of a fan of the black/grey color combo. And the Batgirl because she looks damn nice and fit cool next to the SilverAge Bats I should be gettin'.

And I agree, the IC line do not mesh well at all with these figs. And the second wave of that line has some bad renditions of Flash, Black Canary and Batman. They all don't look the way they should.

What exactlyare the differences with the JLA Supes and WW and the boxset Supes and WW other than the paint schemes? I know WW has yellow instead of gold and Supes suit looks a darker shade of blue, but whats the difference with the heads?

Here's a side by side shot of the new JLA Boxset WW and the regular line JLA WW.

I'm lovin' the boxset WW's slightly darker skin tone, a darker blue on the tights and new "warrior princess" head sculpt but the downside is the yellow in place of gold. Looks like I'll haveto do some repainting on my Boxset WW to give the gold instead of yellow accents.

The darker skintone is nice but I like the face of the original better. She looks prettier. The serious gameface is boxset WW isnt bad but I already have Sups and Bats looking mega serious, I want her to represent a lighter femine side of the triology.

Well, I like the serious face since it meshes well with Supes and HUSH Batman.

It gives them the "We're not gonna take any schitt" attitude that I like.

Ya Im waiting for the new Guy Gardner, the old one with the mushroom cut...err not so great.

Yeah, the mushroom cut Guy is kinda funky. A new one is definitely a must, especially with how cool the other figs from that line came out.

A new Tomar Re would be nice too.

Hasnt Tomar Re been dead since 86, I think the new line is the new post Rebirth Lanterns.
