Hey anyone going to New York Comic Con II this February? Stan Lee's supposed to be there, so i decided to make the pilgrimage up to the Big Apple for a chance to meet a living legend! :word:

Not sure if i'll actually get to get up close, and get an autograph (!), but at least we'll be in the same building, at the same time, which is cool in itself! :word:

Im real excited. :yay:

Is this a trick question? OF COURSE!!! If Stan's gonna be there, so will I (and not just for the obvious reasons, as indicated below ;) )!!!

:venom: That sounds like something that cannot be missed. :gg:

Awesome photos fuzzbuster!

Do the artists usually charge for a sketch, or are they free?

So what might be considered an average price for a sketch?

I ask, because there are going to be about a dozen or so artists there whom i'd like sketches from, including a Daredevil or Tomb Of Dracula sketch from legendary Marvel artist Gene Colan. :word:

Im trying to prepare a budget for myself, 'cause airfare and hotels add up.
Plus; my wife and daughter shopping in downtown Manhatten :wow: , lol.

It depends on the artist I have one from Matthew Clark that cost me 50 and one from Denny Fincke that only cost 15. Fincke is the artist for the recent Ninja Turtles cartoon :)

usually the more famous the artist the higher the price gets. and I've heard that sometimes people like Jim Lee or Adam Hughes have signs that say they wont even be doing sketches.

Hey babe ;). Do you have a scan of it?

No b/c I framed it and I don't want to take it out b/c I'm afriad it will get ruined if scanned. However, I will see if I can take a pic of it ok?

Alex charged me $40 on the drawing if anyone is wondering
