Days of Future Past "Place Your Bets": Mutant Death Tolls

The new trailer gives us a bit more insight into who might survive the Sentinel onslaught and who might not.
A couple of weeks ago I began to believe that Storm might die and today's trailer clip somewhat reinforces that speculation:

But the trailer also has me believing that many other premiere X-Men characters will die...perhaps more than any of us imagined or considered.
For example, these two pics have me thinking seriously tonight:

Could it be that Xavier is also gonna bite the dust (again)? Seems like this franchise has a penchant for the Professor getting his ass vaporized by fire.
It looks like something taller than him is approaching him, causing him to fear and blocking his face for protection.

Who else do you guys think may lose their life before the War is over?

I really hope Prof. X doesn't get fried. Would be a bit unoriginal to kill him off again, he's ****ing Prof. X for god's sake.

I think everyone in the future will die except for Wolverine and Kitty, who will probably be about to be vaporized right when things are made right.

Why are so many eager for Storm to die? Is it because of the source material or because they hate Halle Berry?

It does seem too obvious but I have a hard time believing someone is going to help her in that split second before she gets stabbed.

Halle...as Storm. I don't hate Berry but I still think she was terribly miscast.

Maybe it's a trap and Kitty is going to phase her away. It does seem like a close call though.

I think Storm, Colossus, Sunspot, Blink? and possibly Warpath will die. I think Iceman might die too.

The only mutants I don't see getting killed in the future are Kitty, Bishop, Rogue and Wolverine.

If Rogue survives it's because someone or multiple mutants helped her out. Her weak powers aren't going to do much in the fight, unless she kills a stronger mutant for their powers. Or just weakens them a lot, which would basically be the same as serving them to a Sentinel on a platter.

I'd dare to say their gambit for fixing things in the past will actually be the only thing that insures any survival. Even Wolverine should be at risk. This is the end for them, unless they can prevent the end from even starting.

I think everyone, save for Kitty or Rogue (depending on how the Rogue situation works out ), Wolverine, and possibly Professor Xavier, dies.

Magneto--It's his time, and what better way to go than finally doing what's right?

Storm--An homage to her comic book death is heavily hinted at in the trailer, and Kinberg (I believe) said we would be surprised by just how much the books are referenced.

Iceman--There's a shot of Kitty crying over Wolverine. As someone pointed out earlier today, this is probably where she learns of Bobby's demise.

Kitty--May or may not die. It sounds like she is seriously injured in earlier drafts, hence the need for Rogue. Now??? No clue.

Rogue--May take Kitty's place, as in earlier drafts, which could mean her survival until the end. If she's been written out, well, I wouldn't be surprised if she's a casualty of the camps.

Colossus--The strongest X-Man will probably fall, reinforcing just how powerful the sentinels are.

Bishop, Blink, Sunspot, and Warpath--Cannon fodder. They're new, and there's not enough time to get to know them well enough to justify their survival.

Yeah you would think that the scene wouldn't be shown in the trailer if it does indeed happen. It's definitely has ppl talking about it, so I suppose it's smart either way.

I believe Storm will lose her life, but it won't be by means of impalement as the trailer suggests. I mean, that's a serious spoiler isn't it?

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't they also show the shot of Wolverine and Storm crying around Prof X's chair in the trailer for X3 as well?

I think Farren's suggestion, regarding Kitty, is Storm's best bet, because that thing is ridiculously close to impaling her.

I've also thought about Kitty somehow crouched behind those ledges. Storm phased the whole time.

Yeah it could be, I also feel like Storm would be able to sense someone moving through the air. Also, Bishop seems to not be reacting to it.

Yeah storm could even blast it back herself but I do think this is her death right there and then.
