I'm saving up for a PS3, but I don't want to fork out some extra cash on a HDTV aswell at the moment.

Will a PS3 work on a Standard Def T.V? It has the red/yellow/white scart cable hole thing... I'm not very tech savvy, sorry. XD

Yes, it will work. My bro has a PS3 and only a standard tv and the PS3 works fine. You can watch blu-ray on a standard tv, as long as you have a PS3 or maybe even blu-ray player. A HDTV is better for blu-ray though.

Tehcnically, you can connect your PS3 to even an old UHF connector.

yes and the ps3 actually comes with those cables, too. Though you really won't be getting anywhere near the type of audio/visual quality with standard def. Keep your eye on tv prices over the next few weeks; they'll be dropping like crazy.

yeah wait till this winter or the day after the superbowl and if youre lucky you can get a HDTV for free (..if you go to those Rooms2Go combo deals)
