couldn't agree more....throw her on the ground, flip her on her stomach, and pull both of her arms behind her, hand cuff her wrists, then feet if she is kicking...

As the father stated, if you can't get a 10 year old in your cop car you shouldn't be a cop. What kind of adult can't take care of a 10 year old???

The mom sounds like white trash if you ask me...telling the officer to tazer her own young daughter. This is why some people/protestors need to mind their own business when someone needs to discipline their kids so they don't grow up to be spoiled brats. Probably wouldn't have gotten out of control if the Mom had given her a good spanking.

Think of it this way: it was either taze the girl (borderline harmlessly), or possibly cause even more damage to her by hitting and/or throwing her to the ground so you can cuff her. You'd be shocked at how hard it is to deal with kids who are as violently combative as they're making her out to be (if that really is the case).

I've been hit with a tazer before, and I can safely say that, if I weighed 75 lbs., I'd rather the tazing than the giant officer hurling my ass to the ground and cuffing me.

That said, I don't really see why it was necessary to haul a 10-year old girl off to jail in the first place. Nor why any sort of mother would recommend such an act.

Then legal guilt likely would have fallen to the mother, since she urged the officer to do it, and would probably have been aware of the heart condition.

Very true. Hell, I don't think it should be a problem for any adult. Just look at my last post.

Do the midget toss with the spoiled *****. You might miss once or twice and throw her into the side of the car but you'll eventually get her in that backseat.

And I've grown up with a younger brother, and have had to teach numerous martial arts classes and summer camps, the camp being in a pretty ****** county. Basically meaning, I had to deal with little bastards who acted like that girl on a daily basis.

Again, the child got off lucky. More damage likely would have been caused by that cop manhandling her than would with a quick jolt from a tazer. The tazers aren't as dangerous as they sound. In all honesty, they're much more of a scare tactic than they are a weapon.
