My official rating is 9.5, but for this poll I voted 9. The best word I can think to describe this movie is EPIC.

Not sure where I'd rank it (in the MCU?), but I rated it 6 / 10.
Loses a bit by being unnecessarily funny at times (gasp shock, he's one of those!!!), but is still a fun as heck film.

Truly hated Pulp Fiction btw. Had to give it 3 goes before I could watch it in one sitting..

7/10 for me. The movie was cool and enjoyable but I felt they were having fun more than trying to build a world, so to speak. The humor was a bit too much. I don'tknow why I acceptedit completely with GotG and less with Thor.
It may be due to the fact that I read Thor on a lot of occasions, but never opened a book of GotG.
Cool film anyway, I enjoyed it quite a lot

Aha ! Same here, I always feel like a tool when we talk about this amongst friends, because I don't like the movie at all.
Yes I agree on this. This moment would have been better without the humor. I was sad to see Asgard explodes.

    It's a 9 for me.
A few things didn't quite click, but it was more than enjoyable.
It was a big, refreshing surprise after the first two films that gave me hope that Thor can be as cool and popular and loved as Tony and Steve are currently.

About the rating system, I personally never compare superhero films to other films.
Not that they are worse by any means, i just believe it's a specific kind of film that could be analyzed and seen for what it is much better when compared to other superhero films.

I couldn't agree more, that part needed some levity and it was ruined for me. I have a few other small gripes, like the under use of Sutur, but overall this is a solid 9 for me.

    7.5 Solid
Too many jokes but the Thor v Hulk fight alone was worth the price of admission.

There was nothing in the movie that I did not like. The closest was the way the W3 were handled but I was only "meh" about it. Everything else about the movie just worked. I would give it a 9.5 but since its not an option here, its a 10 from me for the purposes of this poll.

A solid 9. This has replaced Iron Man as my no.1 favorite Marvel movie to date. If Hela's background was explored in more details I would give it a 10.

A 3/10 is a ridiculous rating. You might not like the jokes but that kind of a score means basically you think no effort was put into it. That's like scoring a 30% on a test in school....rarely happens if effort was put into it.

As trash as Batman v Superman was, I still gave it a 5/10. That's an F for me. That means lack of effort (most noteably in the editing department). The director's cut was way too long. The final cut was missing important scenes. The script didn't appear to be reviewed. How the H did the "Martha" scene even get to production?

ANYHOW...there is no way Thor: Ragnarok had such drastic problems to merit a 3/10.

    7/10

    What I didn't like:
Movie is 75% of gags and 25% of real plot.
    All space characters speaking English.
Thor after cut hair having Hemsworth color of hair.
Thor beats Surtur, Hela beats Thor+Loki, Surtur beats Hela, fu... logic.

I do believe Surtur said he'd grow even more powerful once he got to Asgard. Add in the Eternal Flame and of course he'd be stronger than in the beginning of the film, which Thor was counting on.

The way people just blatantly ignore things will always puzzle me.
