Out of the cinematic portrayal of the following, which characters on the big screen are you more entertained by and favor more ??

MCU's B-Listers - Ant-Man (Rudd), Doctor Strange (Cumberbatch), & Black Panther (Boseman)

versus

DCEU's A-Lister Trinity - Batman (Affleck), Superman (Cavill), and WW (Gadot)

???????????????

To sum it up - if you there was a new DCEU film featuring the three directed by Zack Snyder and there was another film of MCU's BP, DS, & AM directed by Russo Brothers - which would you be more inclined to watch ?

MCU's B-listers are easier to win. Batfleck is easily the worst of this bunch, while Wonder Woman is the best (ignoring that she retired after WW1).

Superman is terrible in BvS, charming and easy for me to love in Justice League [blackout](when he's not trying to kill the team)[/blackout], cool for resisting his father's NLP (Neurological Linguistic Programming) of "Let them die" in MoS but not cool for all the destruction he causes. Minus how terrible he is in BvS I prefer this Superman to MCU's mid-tier characters.

I need to see more of the Panther to come to a conclusion.

I'm incredibly tired of both. I need something new.

So, basically: I want to bash DC fans, so I’ll create a biased poll that anyone in their right mind would vote MCU on, because most of us know the DCEU is crap.

How about this instead?

MCU B-listers movie vs another Christopher Nolan DC movie - A list or B list... it doesn’t matter. Not DCEU.

...how do you think the vote would go on that one, eh?

Black Panther is new for this genre of films, we never had a story of a newly appointed king interact with his kingdom and the world.

Now I have the feeling this will be another movie compared and likened to the first Iron Man.

Dr Strange, Ant Man and Wonder Woman also offer something different for me.

I want different tone, different artistry, different production design, different approach. Wakanda or New York makes little difference to me. Or if it's a king or a rich guy. Logan and Deadpool was a good change of pace. At this point I'm more interested in X-Men, Deadpool 2 and even Venom.

There's Logan, you might want to give it another shot.

I love first 45 minutes of Logan and don't like the rest of the film.

Finally someone, who share my opinion. First 45 was 10/10 from me but the rest only was 5/10
It's like two films, separated by that crappy smart-phone presentation. Everything before that is great, from that scene and beyond - meh.

To me, character tier doesn't matter much in one's fulfillment of the film. It's proper treatment and competent film making first and foremost. GOTG is the perfect example of this. I would think around 90% of first time audience viewers had the slightest clue who they were and yet it succeeded on all levels.

This is the weirdest comment...

We've never seen a straight up comic book portrayal of Batman the way Snyder did Batman. Wonder Woman is the first mega super hero on the big screen and her movie was huge. Superman - I can agree w/ u there, its nothing new from Chris Reeves or Brandon Routh , but more depressing.

Doctor Strange is incredibly new and refreshing to see magic world of the MCU. Black Panther you've never even seen except 20 min or so in Civil War. Havent even seen Wakanda yet. And Ant-Man is a comedy heist film with shrinking powers, completely new and fresh from anything we've seen in any superhero film.

Both studios are bringing fresh and new things to the big screen, DC is just stumbling along the way.

Who could make a better superhero movie?

A: Marvel Studios

B: 1 Christopher Nolan

does anyone actually a make a DC poll like this? i've seen a few marvel ones like this where the results are obvious

Marvel. Even Marvel's relative low (Strange) is better than anything the DCU's done except for WW. Batman and Superman have been badly, badly handled, and it looks like Panther's a home run. WW is all DCU has going for itself right now.

My point being, this is a loaded and rather dumb poll, designed to do one thing, and one thing alone.

I don't find anything new and refreshing after 17 or whatever films in the series. As for Snyder and co, their toxic take on the characters exhausted me to no end. I have zero desire to dive into more discussion about DCFU in it's current state. The sooner it dies or is completely revamped top to bottom by new preferably talented people, the better in my eyes.

This is an odd poll. If we are talking A-list, why are we measuring Doctor Strange and Ant-Man against Batman v Superman and not The Dark Knight or Superman: The Movie?

As a whole, I think DC's A-listers have had both far better and far worse movies than the rather middling Ant-Man and Doctor Strange. With that said, I am excited to see Black Panther, and have a suspicion that this time next week he will be considered as A-list as Iron Man or certainly Cap are now post-MCU success stories.

In any case, to play into this poll, Doctor Strange and Ant-Man are far better movies than Batman v Superman or Justice League. Neither is as good as Wonder Woman.
