Gotta admit I barely took any notice of that main event, maybe because I knew the results but it just seemed so unengaging. I think Bryan should have came out to save Cena from a post match Ryback beatdown to reverse last weeks ending, but what they did was ok.

I didn't hate the hair because I thought it was nice, unique attribute of his "voice of the voiceless" persona, but that hairstyle has had its time.

Wolvo Punk looks like it could be the start of a new era for Punk.

Everything about Punk has felt fresh since he came back, which doesn't surprise me as he's always liked to change things up through his career.
It definitely feels like this is the start of the next phase with I imagine his sights set on the Mania main event.

That's smart idea too. Neither Cena or Punk needs to wrestle week to week to help ratings, especially when there are other talent who can draw and merely their appearance or promos helps ratings.

I agree, guys like Bryan, Dolph, Del Rio etc...benefit from extra main event match time and Punk and Cena are still there to drive their angles. I mean back in the day Austin didn't wrestle every week and that added to his matches feeling more important.

Yeah, I agree. I meant it more in terms of her getting that high-profile spot next to the other three aforementioned ladies. That scenario you drew out would be glorious, and I'd love to see it. I agree, she does deserve it.

If Trish can't make it and WWE want their top heel Diva to have a match at Mania with a real story, then Nattie's journey fits perfectly, I mean she is the polar opposite to AJ when it comes to career trajectory and AJ can rub that in and Nattue can really tell her story from the heart because it's actually true.
