Supermarkets and other retail outlets have been removing all Irish pig meat and related products from their shelves and consumers are also asked to bin all pork and bacon in their homes.

That includes pork, bacon, rashers, sausages, gammon steaks, salami, ham, sausage rolls, black pudding, white pudding and ready meals with Irish pork/bacon as an ingredient.

I had bacon this morning. I hate this ****ing country. **** Ireland.

You could always swim across the pond and come to my parents' place for your Christmas ham if you'd like.

it was just on the news, here the now reckon any pork from as far back as september could be infected

and it could be affecting 20-25 other country's out side the uk and ireland

And they laughed at me for endorsing turkey bacon. Laughed! Who's laughing now? Me, that's who! Hahaha! Hahaha haha!

I don't recall seeing any bacon when I carved the turkey this year. Could you point that **** out to me? :hoboj:

According to what I've read on Yahoo Answers, turkey bacon is made from a small fatty portion of the turkey near its wing. It's then processed to oblivion, and shaped like a slice of bacon.

It must take a whole lotta turkey to make bacon.
