I was curious what people thought of the movie showcasing Cap's tactical abilities? It's one thing to say he is a good man and just needs the physical edge. But one of the more overlooked aspects of Cap's abilities in the comics is the effect the SSS had on his mental abilities. There's nothing at all precluding the enhancement of his body to also include an increase in his neural pathways. The man is, afterall one this best martial artists in the MU as well as the defacto leader of everyone and the best tactician they have.
I'm just hoping that the movie demonstrates that Steve discovers after the procedure that he is able to pick up training faster than the average guy too, as well as formulate plans and assess threats more quickly than he would have been able to have before. I mean, it's never been said that Rogers was some kind of tactical prodigy before he became Cap or anything. And the SSS having a total systemic effect at every level does help get over that pesky hurdle of "the SSS is steroids, we shouldn't be playing up steroids. You can't go saying kids can become amazing athletes if they do what captain america did" crap some people seem to think Cap advocates.
