Is there any possibility that the Ten Titans movie announced will be released in 2009? If they find a director and a great script is turned, I think it could happen.

There might not be a superhero movie in the summer of 09. Which would be great. Unless Fox pushes Wolverine for a summer release. WB is still juggling JL and MOS to the point either might not come until winter 09 and since Potter's last film might come out in summer 09 as the tentpole. Give people a break before the next generation of comic films begin. Verheiden is still on BSG so he might not have the script ready until 08.

MOS is set for a summer release.. so far everything points to it being on schedule. so far its only the producers of some of singers later moves that are messing it up..

Routh, Spacey and Singer all say that they start production early next year

No it isn't. MOS isn't greenlite and Singer said in an interview that he wasn't sure when it would be released.

I do still think no superheroes in summer 09 would be great.

Right now, Singer and Co are pushing for a summer 09 release just like what Warner Bros originally wanted. It just depends if Warner Bros gives the Man of Steel a greenlight which I hope will happen.

Also Marvel will have either Captain America or Thor along with Ant-Man prepped up for the Summer 09 period.

the script for MOS is being written right now, and Singer has pitched the movie to WB..
but I'm 100% positive that there wont be any more news on MOS and JLA until SDCC

I think if we do get a SuperHero/Comic book movie in 2009 it will be JLA.

I doubt that even with a green light on their script that MOS will get done on time for a summer release, and really even doubt a winter '09 also.

That will be a may release in 2010 at best...
If they even ok the movie... Which I hope they don't.

Warner will make sure they will have at least one superhero film in 09. Titans are a little lost in the mix with JLA and MOS talk going around.

There are going to be several superhero movies out in 2009 Captain America/Thor, Ant-Man, and quite possible the Man of Steel.

You have to consider that most people who saw Superman Returns actually did like it, it got mostly positive reviews, and the fact Superman Returns actually did make money, despite it not being as much as everyone expected. There's just a good a chance of Singer's second Superman movie to get greenlit just as much as the JLA film.

And seriously, I doubt a JLA film will get made before Nolan's third Batman film, Singer's second Superman film, and Levy's Flash film.

Antman is dead in the water if I remember correctly.

Thor had a script turned in and Captain is close to being finished if I remember correctly. Maybe I'm a pessimist, but I just don't see either of those making it by 09. Marvel needs to make sure Iron Man and Hulk do well first. Thor isn't big enough to be a summer release. February or March maybe. Captain is big enough for a summer release.

I just don't think MOS will be finished in time for a summer release. Winter sure. JLA is the same unless they already know what they're doing with the casting.

Teen Titans is so up in the air it's ridiculous. I could see Flash being ready first since they are using ideas from Goyer's script.

Those Marvel movies are contractually obligated for summer releases though... C.A and Thor are definitely go's for 09... unless Hulk and IM flat out bomb and they postpone production... but that's unlikely... And barring a shi:tty ass script turned in by Singer, MOS is definitely 2009... the big question is what to do in 2010... WW has no chance... neither does Flash really... they have been talking about that for so long... I just don't see when it will ever get done before a JLA... keep in mind Marvel may have FF3 and SM4 out in 2010... DC may not want their lesser guns competing with those proven franchises. A JLA is possible though for a mid July release... it will be interesting to see how WB lines up their future projects.

Ant-Man isn't dead in the water. Especially since Marvel is making the film and not some third party studio like Lion's Gate, Universal, or 20th Century Fox.

I beleive all the Marvel films made by Marvel are going to be summer films.

Work on the Man of Steel is being done right now and Warner Bros will most likely greenlight it soon. I think we'll hear something from ComicCon about it.

Flash is another thing I think we'll hear at ComicCon, same with Wonder Woman (they bought the spec script for a reason).

The writer for Teen Titans will be at the Comic Con, so we will get news at the end of the month.

Seriously dudes if we do end up getting a JLA movie in 2009 you do know WB will give Singer to do it right? They will use the fact that he has done superhero team up movies before such as X-Men 1 & 2 as a basis to direct JLA. And we all know we dont want Singer anywhere near a JLA set far less for directing one.

Seriously, the main reason why I find the Superman Returns haters extremely annoying is that they act as if they are the majority opinion (when they clearly are not) and are speaking for EVERYONE out there (as if everyone else shares their opinion). There are probably people out there who would be glad to see Singer on Justice League of America.

That said, I would rather not see Singer direct Justice League of America. I'd rather see him stick to Superman, he does a good job with it. The same is said to Nolan sticking to Batman, Levy sticking to Flash, whomever does Wonder Woman stick to Wonder Woman, and same for Green Lantern.

This is Justice League of America starring Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter. Not Superman and the Justice League of America co-starring Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and the Martian Manhunter.

Well, until MOS starts its marketing campaign, we won't know what the general public thought of Returns.

You can't dismiss the ramblings of the haters as exaggerations. FF had a high dislike level and FF2 didn't exactly bring in the money. The SR defenders and haters use words like "everyone I know", "everyone I work with" and for all any of us know they maybe talking about eight people.

Titans in 2009 seems unlikely. Since Verheiden is going to be at Comic-Con, he'll be asked about it. I don't even pretend to understand the WB, Flash was written up(by Goyer, the man behind BB) and storyboarded and still was scrapped. I mean if they wanted more comedy, why not do a rewrite or bring in another writer to do another draft?

The people I saw it at the movie theaters liked it. Most people on these boards like it (about 56% people said keep Singer for another Superman movie in the Superman boards). Most reviewers like it (76% fresh rating at Rotten Tomatoes). Yeah, there are a lot of people who didn't like it, but most people did like it.

It's not they're exaggerating. People do that all the time. The problem as I said is that they think they speak for everyone and actually do think that they are in the majority when they aren't.

The problem with Goyer's Flash was that they wanted more comedy in it. The problem was that it was too dark. Batman is a dark character which is why I loved Batman Begins. The Flash isn't a dark character so I'm glad that they ditched it.

I do think that Levy can make the Flash go through though.

Sony is aiming to release The Green Hornet in the summer of 2009. Those plans obviously aren't finalized yet, but likely will be.
