I know its a long shot, but with the movie apparently going into the "Generations of Ghost Rider" part of the GR mythos, perhaps they could have a quick shot of Vengeance or something.

Considering they show the Old Western Ghost Rider, anything's possible.

There is a possibilty yes

But in all honesty I doubt it will happen. But if it does it could be a passing reference much like the Photo of Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman in that god awful Halle Berry flick

There's a scene at a police station, knowing MSJ from Daredevil, I would be surprised if we see someone named Badalino (sp?) while JB is there. That'll probably be the extent of it though.

I agree Joker. There's a slight chance that somebody will be named Badalino but, there will (and I can say this with a lot of confidence) be no vengeance.

If it's very successful I bet we might get him in a sequel though.

That is the most likely scenario. He will probably be a cop or one of the criminals that GR will use his Penance Stare on

I actually wouldnt be surprised if he was one of the arresting officers, or if he was on his way to interrogate Blaze when he escapes or something along those lines. Or it might just be a throw away refference like Turk was in Daredevil.

Could be either. I'd love to see him there leading the cops on thier neverending quest to 'arrest' Ghost Rider. It would be cool if they developed him now and use him as a villian of sorts in the sequal.

Has anyone else seen this? Why would they be making a "movie-styled" Vengeance if he wasn't in the film?

EDIT: There's also a Scarecrow figure, which leads me to believe that perhaps Vengeance and Scarecrow were simply added for the sake of having more variety in their action figure line. In any case, seeing what these characters may well look like on film (now or in the future) is quite interesting.

I don't think either Scarecrow or Vengeance are making appearances in the first film, but it's possible.

I know that MSJ always wanted to use Scarecrow as the main villain in the first, but now he'll probably be in GR2...I don't know about Vengeance. Maybe he'll be in GR3.

But, MSJ, if you did put Vengeance and Scarecrow in the film...then that's freaking awesome!

P.S. kaijunexus, can you post the action figure pic of Scarecrow?

Of course they're not in the film. This kind of thing happens all the time.

Like people who thought Metallo was in SR because he was in the video game

Woah, he looks good.

But yeah, I don't think either of them will be appearing until the sequels...

That's not an entirely useful example.

Extra characters are included in video games for the sake of content. Additionally, they are given back stories and weaved into what is already known about the characters that were present in the film.

Besides that, the Superman video game is just that...a SUPERMAN video game. It's purchased on account of the Superman name and icon. Why purchase a Scarecrow or Vengeance figure (who don't come packaged with a Ghost Rider figure for a sense of relation) if they aren't recognized singularly?

These action figures will have no seeming link to the film to anyone but comic book fans.

It was a perfect example

Interesting that when I claim it's a poor example, I'm willing to present some logical arguments for my opinion. But when you retort with "it's a perfect example", you give no argument whatsoever. Good job.

I heard they're for the game but thanks for the nice big pics of those in their boxes.:wow:

yup...both Scarecrow and Vengeance are in the game and i assume the figures are merely based on the character's appearance in the game adaptation.
Toy Biz did the same thing w/ their FF movie line....they had an Annihilus(sp?) and Doombot figures in the line-up but the characters never appeared in the movie. they did show up in the game and they were based on that.
just an excuse to give the figure line a slightly wider range of different characters...one which i dont mind at all.

Stop being a fool and accept the fact it's a perfect example.

Thanks Biggun as always for clarifying all things GR related! :ghost:

I really like the way Vengeance looks in this figure. The whole purple bones thing iis really dumb IMO. It looks good in comic form, but not figure form.

Well, look at it this way, Vengeance's skull was meant to be black, but coloring made it purple since having a completely black inked skull would be too heavy in the art. The needed the details. But it was supposed to contrast Ghost Rider's white.

Similar to how Blaze's bodysuit was to be black, but evolved to the blue it is now because of coloring and not being able to make everything black to allow detailing.

That's how I look at it.

But yes, the redesign actually came out good here. Wish the Scarecrow one wasn't so disappointing.
