Possible dialogue in the battle

Abomintion: Doing that "Hyde" thing little too far, Banner. I know that you control that beast. Stop intending to be the savage. Tell me how to reverse the metamorphsis NOw!!!!!!!!!

Hulk: "Hulk not know but Hulk knows to smash!"

Abomintion: "Goddammed! I'll squeeze the knowledge out of you."

Hulk: "Scale-face puny! Hulk smash!"

I meant if you have the opportunity to view the script or had the opportunity to write the battle in the film, what is your dialogue going to be?

We just saw examples of the Gravage Hulk-type speech and a dumbed down version of the Savage Hulk.

Now, here's a gray Hulk example.

Hulk: "I ain't that wimp. Banner! I'm The Hulk "

Hulk: "Heh! Can't change back to human form? That'll show you to not screw around with Gamma radiation!"

Hulk: "I ain't a Brittanica Encyclopedia, ya jerk! I'll show ya how to be a Hulk by bashin' your skull in!"

I like it, but perhaps with one less line for the Hulk. I see him talking...just not talking his head off.

Well, I'm in the camp that's for Hulk referring to himself in the 3rd person as little as possible. Just save that one for and iconic line, like "Hulk smash!" or one of the other one's. Beyond that, I prefer him so say little(but still more than the last movie) and when he does just have him not refer to himself at all, like the current "gravage" Hulk. Abombination can yack all he wants.

You can't change him talking in the third person. That is what he's known for doing. He's not an intellect or Joe Fixit. Let us keep it simple and realize that 1) we can't satisfy everyone and 2) the Hulk is a brute and speaks like one. Here's a sample:

Abomination: "Hmm Dr. Banner, I see you are your brute alter-ego."

Hulk: "Hulk not Banner!!!"

Abomination: "Taking that "Hyde" thing a bit too far, Banner. I know that you control that beast! Stop intending to be the savage. Tell me how to reverse the metamorphsis now!!!!!!!!! You think I want to remain like this?!!"

Hulk: "Get away from Hulk scale-face!"

Abomination: "Damn you! I'll squeeze the knowledge out of you."

Hulk: "LEAVE-HULK-ALONE, ROOAARR!!! (Thoom! as Hulk smashes ground sending Abomb up in a shockwave.)

I didn't say he never uses the 3rd person reference, I just said keep it minimal. Not referring to himself at all for the rest of the time(my suggestion) is still how a brute would speak. I never said he should be giving out reams of dialogue like some other incarnations. The "gravage" Hulk still refers to himself in 3rd person from time to time after all, just not a lot. And I still say he should keep the talking to a minimum(say about as much as Arnold spoke as the cyborg in the 1st Terminator film). It would still be far more than he spoke in Ang's Hulk movie.

That's still the gravage hulk, which isn't an actual new incarnation as I see it, but just a more world-weary savage hulk. That's how I see it anyway.

Let's say that we agree to disagree here.

First off, The Savage Hulk wasn't that intelligent to start off. Secondly, The "Gravage" was. He had and still do have a rather good and complex understanding of the world. The Savage Hulk had more of a simplistic view of the world.
In that reality, the "Gravage" was modeled more after the Savage Hulkl but normally in the regular reality, he always been a green version of the Gray Hulk, perhaps, more brutish and more of a less sunny disposition.

Read Tempest Fugit or Al Milgron's Gravage, or Stan lee's one. You would see a distinct speech pattern and never once he referred himself in the third person in the 45 years of the Hulk.

Agree with you. It is not the original purpose of the thread. It was meant to let your creative juices flowing and create your own dialogue for the upcoming battle scene between the Abomination and the Hulk.
