Possible title for sequel

Dont know if this was true, but i was told that they have already come up with the title for the sequel. "G.I.JOE 2: COBRA-LA" Im not to familiar with G.I.JOE stories, although i remember the name Cobra-La from the old cartoon back in the 80's but what it was about i havent a clue. anyway i thought id share that with you.

Good lord I HOPE NOT! Cobra La was the jump the shark moment for the cartoon series, and it would be horrible if they were already considering using them for the movies.

How though... the previous movie was called G.I.Joe Rise of Cobra... there in power, they have already had there revenge without them already knowing...

I'd love to know where you heard of the Cobra-La title for the sequel. Cobra-la was from the original animated movie. There may be some confusion there.

Also, how can anyone come up with a possible title for the sequel without any kind of storyline? From what I remember, the story comes before the title. Not the other way....

What I'd really like to see as the title - GI JOE: A REAL AMERICAN HERO



Kill off Ripcord in the opening sequence or after the first Battle Scene by a shot from Cobra Commander himself.


I'd make the uniforms match the color combination of the classic Character designs but with some modern updates - No more United Nations Blue or generic Black Suits.

I'd base their HQ out of the PIT in Springfield NJ with select units scattered across the globe.

They would be an AMERICAN Military unit and make sure to get the full blessing of the US Armed forces this time so you could film some real world military locations and hardware.

Some characters could be from other nations like Outback from Australia, etc.

Introduce the Oktober Guard and have a GI JOE & Russian team up when they go after Cobra around the world.

Introduce Extensive Enterprises, a Huge International Banking Firm, run by Tomax and Xamot under the Evil RED SHIELD of Cobra which plunges the Financial World into sheer chaos to trigger Cobras Rise to Power again.

Wrap up the Zartan in disguise as the President plot, build the suspense, make him constantly go on Vacations to avoid having to deal with the press or answer any questions.

Out the Cobra traitors in Congress and Leaders around the World who were taking bribes from Cobra funneled through Extensive Enterprises.

The USS Flag

Introduce new characters such as Flint, Lady Jaye, Spirit w. Freedom, Stalker, Sgt Slaughter cameo

Have the Hasbro design team create some new military vehicles reminiscent of the classic designs which can be turned into toys.

Eliminate the Cultist Eagle Head Evil Eye and Star Logo and replace it with the American Flag.
