The Avengers Post Credits Scene(As in all marvel studios movies)

Personally I think cap will freeze at the end. I think thats pretty obvious by now. And in the post credits scene we see Nick Fury and shield in present time finding Cap in ice.

No, instead I will hijack the thread to ask this question: Do you believe we will get a post credit scene in Avengers? Any cameos from other heroes? Foreshadowing of Black Panther, Dr. Strange, Iron Fist, Iron Man 3???

They'll all be partying it up at Stark's place, when suddenly the lights will all go out, and when they pop back on, Clay Quartermain or someone like that will appear, and tell everyone that he's there to tell them about a team they're putting together. Then Nick Fury will step up and be like "Dammit Clay, this isn't Dr. Pym's house!"

And then the Hulk will do a kegstand

I think the post credit scene should be like the Iron Man/TIH style.

The Avengers team returns to home base wherever that is, and Fury introduces them to Hank Pym, or Ms. Marvel, or whoever.

Depends on the storyline of the film, if they aren't dealing with skrulls in this one there could be something like they get a message at the end about an impending alien attack, setting up the sequel.

I definitely would like to see Black Panther. Or maybe a hint at Marvel moving onto street heroes next (Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Punisher, Moon Knight).

Tony and Sam....er Nick are drinking some beers and chilling in a bar celebrating their victory over whoever. Tony makes some wiseass remark about how great they are and they don't need any new recruits. He reaches for his beer and a webline pulls it away.

That was a joke.

Other version he reaches for his beer and Nathan Fillion walks up and punches him across the room. Who is Nathan Fillion's character? Hank Pym? Captain Hammer? Doesn't matter, he's there and it is awesome.

The post credits scene should definitely involve the introduction of a future Avengers member like Pym or Black Panther. Or maybe it could lead into Iron Man 3. I would be fine either way.

I guess it depends which script will be finished next. Ant-Man? Dr. Strange? Black Panther? Iron Man 3? All of them are in development. The first writer who gets his script done will see his character in the cameo (or at least strong hints to the charcter like the hammer in IM2), except of course IM 3, where we might get hints of the villain.

I would like to see Nick Fury and Tony Stark walking through a lab. Equipment is everywhere, the place is cluttered. Nick calls out "Doctor"? A voice replies "What can I do for you Nick can't you see that I'm busy"? They walk from behind some shelving to see a man working on a helmet of sorts with an anatomic drawing of an ant on a computer screen. To his left we see an unfinished metal torso. Nick says " Stark, I'd like you to meet Dr. Henery Pym". Fade to black.

Not a post credits scene but i want the final words to be Avengers Assemble.

After the climax we have the cooldown and the return to 'normal' then we could have the Avengers fight a squad of Hydra with Cap yelling Avengers Assemble?

Then the post credits be something huge that won't affect the Avengers in their solo films until the threat actually arrives. So something like Nick receiving a message from space about a war or something hinting towards the arrival of Kang.

Towards the end of the movie, after the big threat is defeated, The Hulk leaves The Avengers in frustration, as he feels no one trusts him.

After the credits! The Hulk (or Bruce Banner) walks sullenly down a lonely country road, when a regal voice says; "Mr Banner, may I have a moment?"

Hulk/Banner turns, curiously, as the voice continues; "I understand you have left The Avengers, because they treated you badly. But don't let this one experience turn you against the idea of working with others."

The speaker is revealed as DOCTOR STRANGE, who says; "I have a few ideas about a team of my own."

It should either be the introduction of Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, or maybe it should show Ultron 5 gaining sentience (provided that he is there in the background of the first movie).

Or it should have Kang somehow, or Baron Zemo or Thanos. Just an impending threat that will build excitement for another movie.

Iron Man 3's confirmed for May 2013 so perhaps we'll see on some monitors footage of the Avengers triumphant. A Chinese man, his face obscured to the camera, his hand wielding ten rings, watches as he whispers:

'So Mr. Stark, your eyes have finally opened to a science beyond human understanding. But it will not prepare you for the Ten Rings' final assault.'

I think it should be a warning of another other worldly threat that is heading towards earth. I suppose Doctor Strange would be the best kind of individual to deliver this message.

They could throw little references towards this ever increasing threat into Iron Man 3, Cap 2 and Thor 2, before finally leading into Avengers 2.
