I'm counting Lex Luthor Man of Steel since Batman is in a large chunk of it.

And its not really a trade, but got to mention 'Batman Cover to Cover' as well... because its awesome.

How is it? I was always curious, but never found a copy.

A lot of people have mixed feelings about it, but for me its one of my favorite Bat books. Its one of the few which are fun to read, with a dark sense of humor. I should point out its not silly, its got more of a black humor (and is quite violent and deals with adult themes etc).

Its a very funny book, especially if you like your Bat villains, who all feature prominently and are very entertaining to watch as they mingle and annoy each other. I should point out that Batman is hardly in it, which may be why some fans don't like it...

it follows the story of a sleazy corporate 'shark' who embezzles a lot of money from not-wealthy families and then pleads insanity, thinking he'll get off scott free... the judge then sentences him to observation at Arkham, with a knowing smirk.
Its great to see him slowly break down and then transform at the hands of the other inmates.
Its entwined with the stories of some of the guards as well as the other inmates, and the final story part is very wierd.

I personally really recommend it if you have a sense of humor with your comics and enjoy Bat villains. If you like your Bat comics ultra-serious probably give it a miss.

Living Hell is the first appearance of The Great White Shark as well, who was important to the whole Batman One Year Later story

Teh shiit (good) or shiit (shiit)? I loved No Man's Land. :csad:

hmm yeah 'shiit' is a bit harsh. it's a fun story and kind of important but they're not worth owning, not yet at least. I got the one with Ivy and that's enough, I've rushed through most of the others in the shop

I LOVE that my shop does not wrap their tpbs, and they've never hassled me once
