Iron man 3 blu ray/DVD/ digital copy

Star Trek into darkness blu ray/ DVD/ digital copy ( on sale at FYE for 15 bucks)

World War Z blu ray/DVD/ digital copy ( on sale for 15 bucks at FYE)

Thinking about picking up Hangover Part 3 just because I own the first two so might as well complete the trilogy. I didn't hate it as much as others did. But I will probably get the cheap DVD version if I do decide to buy it.

Game of Thrones, Season 2

Halloween 35th anniversary Bluray

Finally in HD with the correct color timing.

I cant remember the last time I bought a Bluray. Possible Game of Thrones S2 back when it was released this spring. I think Im moving more towards selling off a lot of collection and only buying movies I really want. I think I'll focus on having a digital library instead

No theatricals. :csad:
So it's either wait it out a little longer or finally track down those dvds I stupidly missed out on being a cheap bastard.

Well, at least I got Star Wars TC on dvd. Rather have Empire, but I got 1. Stupid cheapness.

I'd moreso blame Lucas (as much as I love him) for not putting out the theatrical cuts. I understand that it's his work and he wants to do with it as he pleases, but it wouldn't hurt if, persay he did "The original, unaltered cuts" and say, "Lucas' final vision to the Star Wars saga."

Id just like to see a blu ray release for Star Wars like blade runner got. Multiple versions of the movies on a couple disks.

Why would you buy movies you don't want in the first place? Sounds like a waste of money to me.

I'm guilty of doing the same, many times just to watch a film. I still do it sometimes, but it's not done through the Salvation Army or Goodwill where the dvds are dirt cheap. Thankfully, there's only a small handful of movies I don't want to keep, and some of the them are because they are duplicated. Need to find a place to pawn those off for a few bucks.

I only ask because blu-rays especially aren't a cheap purchase, I used to buy a new dvd every paycheck but even then before blu-rays were apparent the price was nowhere near a blu-ray pricetag, still even so they were always movies that I really wanted to buy.

I only buy stuff I want but not everything I buy warrants repeated viewing. In those cases the films just take up space and it's more beneficial for me to just consolidate and make room for stuff I know I'll want to keep for years to come

I can agree with this. A lot of times when I am movie shopping I'll buy a movie on impulse (or it is cheap used) and it will just sit there for a long time.

Are you me? I got a stack of dvds near 100 high I've yet to watch. The Halloween marathon took care of a few, but I'm not watching them nearly fast enough.

I'm talking hundreds. I got two books shelves filled up (with two stacks on top of each). an entire cabinet underneath a small entertainment unit and the little are on the entertainment unit where you can put the DVD player.

Has anyone seen the new releases of the Star Wars PT/OT on bluray with DVD? Does it come with unaltered cuts?

I think those are the same ones that are in the complete saga, just broken up, and no, I don't believe they come with the theatrical cuts.

I use to buy movies on DVD a lot but now my movie purchases have drastically gone down. I only buy blu ray movies that I saw I theaters that I really liked and know I will watch them more than once. In the early 2000's before blu ray I could get new release movies on DVD for like 15 bucks. Now, blu ray movies come in the combo pack thing so the price is usually 20- 25 bucks. I maybe buy like 5 blu ray movies a year if that. Other times I rent movies from Redbox or buy them dirt cheap like at a Black Friday sale.
