Pot Found Growing At FL Mall

Federal drug agents weren't on a shopping spree when they descended on the Mall of the Americas in Miami, but they came away with 200 pot plants.

The marijuana plants were being grown in a hydroponics operation in a second-floor storage area, Central Florida News 13 reported Sunday.

The plants were 3-6 feet tall, the Miami TV station said.

Those responsible for growing the illegal crop were still at large. The mall's management was said to be cooperating with the investigation.

thats funny... when i first read the title, i assumed it'd be like a small plant growing with other plants u'd see in the center of a mall or by a fountain or something....

which reminds me of a story a friend told me about how his friend was smoking it and through the seeds out a window, till one day his mom was gardening and realized the tomato plant she had been tending wasn't growing tomatoes!

that actually happens more than you'd think. Weed is called weed cause that's how it grows and spreads. It used to be extremely prevelant all over north america.

Higher quality growing conditions equal higher quality weed. Ditchweed isn't really good for anything to humans, but the plants do extremely well.

i bet it stank bigtime. ive been in homes where the guy was growing about 6 or 7 plants about the same height and you could smell it from his front door. 200 plants... i bet the janitor walking by was like, "Either someone's throwin a party, or i gotta do my shirt laundry, Dayum!"
