How do you think they will explain the power cosmic. And which scenarios would you like to take place using the power cosmic? it can be either Doom or Surfer.

Considering the fact that SS and Galactus are short of being devine beings because of the power cosmic, I'm not sure how it could be explained without getting somewhat "deep" and philisophical...but I'll take a shot:

Something, comprised partially of, and yet more powerful than time and space itself; transcending the physical in all states and forms. Energy, in its most primordial form, that state in the beginning before there was any and all. A force that can only truly be harnessed by either those whom share a kindred with it from conception to birth or those imbued with it and reborn (the additional "cosmic awareness" that comes with being imbued with the Power Cosmic requires a mental upgrade, for lack of a better term. No mere being could tap the Power Cosmic, but if one could and did through some means such as an earth born device (see Secret Wars, M: UA), both body and mind would be overwhelmed by the stresses the Power Cosmic would slowly and inevitably place on such a frail form. Indeed madness and death would be inevitable.); for one cannot harness the Power Cosmic as a mortal vessel of flesh and bone, less they be torn asunder by the ever flowing, unceasing infernal energies that are the Power Cosmic...

More than likely there will be some enormous display of power by the SS (as if the ability to fly in and out of earth's atmosphere at will without a ship isn't demonstration enough) where he blows something up. :woot:

Very nice, why dont you also state a scenario that you would love to see involving the power cosmic.

Other than the traditional energy blasts.....I think a simple scene taken from the early comics would truly illustrate, not so much the SS's level of power, but his command and the capabilies he has because he is imbued with the Power Cosmic; he consumes organic matter as energy. His almost god like manipulation of matter dowm to molecular and sub-atomic level--a subtle demonstration, the changing of a plants color, etc. Perhaps in doing these visual feets he comes to realize Alicia is blind.

It would be nice to have him share a memory or vision of his travels through the cosmos with her (and the audience), Alicia comes to understand the awe and majesty that is the traveler of the stars--inadvertently, he shares with her a image of a world he once discovered for Galactus. The alien world thriving, full of life...until the arrival of Galactus. The vision SS shares with Alicia becomes a nightmare. We see Galactus briefly in not so much glimpses, but brief quick scenes. The visage of Galactus amongst the smoldering burning ruin is hell like and frightens Alicia. She screams--and they are once again back in her Soho loft. The SS's humanity and concern for the human is obvious. She questions his motives on earth....silence. Then the SS steels himself and becomes once more the stoic herald of Galactus.
