I agree I don't care if green or black is the part of the main 5 line up(I happen to look most of the Rangers who were green or black at one time) but I like if they are both on the line up(like RPM or Mighty Morphin or technically Zeo and Lost Galaxy). But I really don't mind silver or gold if they design it right(like Power Rangers Zeo, In Space or I guess Lightspeed Rescue Titanium Ranger counts) but Nathan and Raiden are purple/violet is awesome(but I never seen Jungle Fury I'm sad to say)!!

The colors for my Ranger series will be Red, Yellow, White, Green, Silver, and Purple. And the Megazords will be like the Shogun Megazord from MMPR.

Mainly because my season is based off of a spirit warrior storyline, so each Rangers Zord can fight on its own then combine to be more epic. I always loved the Shogun Megazord.

Don't like the theme for the new sentai series. The new helmets look awful.

Just picked up the new SH Figuarts 20th Anniversary MMPR White Ranger. I got it on sale at a comic shop for $34.99. Love these Figuarts, but they are pricey. Now I've got MMPR Red, Green, and White. I'd like to pick up the others at some point.

Really? Had the wolf ranger suit been the same tint of purple as the helmet, I would like it, but now it just looks... wrong.

And I wasn't counting special "rangers" like Koragg, Magna Defender and Phantom Ranger.

Oh, btw I like the look of the Kyoryuger ones, but I haven't watched the show yet. I wasn't taking the Sentai in account.

But it doesn't really matter, I still like the "original" colors the best t:

Purple also slowly moving up the ranks. Give it a couple more years before it joins the core team.

Like I said, I like purple. Purple is the bad guy in my series, he's the Venom Ranger, and he's very powerful and unlike the one from Mystic Force, is actually evil.

I wouldn't be surprised if it became a core color soon.

I really wonder if a completely original season won't be strongly considered. They've been at this for 20 years now, they've deviated from Super Sentai in a number of different ways, they've gotten pretty good at telling a consistent story without being too constrained by the Sentai footage. Maybe making their own season from scratch (just this once, to try it out) would be a great way to test what they're really capable of.

Seriously, they really do look that terrible.

Honestly, if they just played each half of the series all the way through, rather than having a summer break (essentially making it 4 parts to the series), than this format would be more tolerable.

But as it stands, its exhausting.

The series never ever gets to pick up. Every time it starts to gain steam, its halted and is back to square one.

Exactly, Saban is contracted to use every season of Super Sentai.

I think people forget that the rights ultimately belonged to Toei, and not Saban. Saban is just a licensee who rents the rights so they can adapt them into Power Rangers. So Saban has to work within the constraints of the contract.

Dairanger is one of the best sentai series ever imo, and I think it is a travesty to have it skipped in favor of another season of Zyuranger for MMPR S2, and only used the Kiba Ranger suit for Tommy's White Ranger.

Well, nothing's stopping Saban from making their very own series, but they just can't use ideas presented in Power Rangers since that will be copyright infringement because Toei has the rights.

My sentiments exactly when I first saw the pics of the Dairanger suits. In my head canon Alpha and Zordon made them as prototypes to match up with the Zords in an unrecorded adventure

Man, I did love those suits.

Seriously though, give someone who knows what he's doing a decent budget and with the technology they have today, a PR movie could look very good.

Imagine the Megazord and monsters with the CGI of Pacific Rim. I wouldn't leave the movie theatre ever again. Until they stop playing the movie of course t:

Oh well, it's probably never going to happen, which is a goddamn shame. What would be a better way to celebrate the 20th anniversary than make a theatrical film?

I agree, a PR film is very unlikely. Barring of course a total epic series that brings in more fans and has them demanding a movie.

Sadly, the way things are going (and looking, WTH Train Rangers????) that doesn't look to be the case.
