Sadly the RPM Red Ranger is in costume for the whole thing

I'm surprised that they didn't just take the stock footages of Go-onger vs Shinkenger movie and then slice-n-dice it into a PR Samurai & RPM movie.

Jayden . . . that hair cut . . . why?

Since they are playing "samurai", Jayden's hairdo is meant as a tribute to Japanese rice bowls. :hehe:

They can still end up using the usable morphed stock footage. Like I said last night even though we don't see the rest in photos. They could still make an appearance for final fight like vs film did.

They did

By the great power of stock footage!

Basically the core mecha of each sentai series showed up
Shake the whole damn planet of its axis with that many megazords stomping around.

Sadly the RPM Red Ranger is in costume for the whole thing
:csad: Please tell me they at least get Eka Darville back for voice work

wow..I wish I could watch the asian version of Power Rangers instead of what's on Netflix...sigh...

Only thing know at this time was some cast members where contacted from rpm cast and some others where not. We don't know who did and didn't return for voice work. But I too hope they did get eka. Voice work is much more easier to work with these days. All you need is some audio equipment and electronically send it out.

Yeah. People can do their voice recordings basically from their homes now and just send it in.

Though I imagine the hardcore fans will be disappointed because typically in the crossover eps. they were fun because they actually brought back all the cast members and some of the villains from the previous series so it was like a nice reunion special.

I believe that is what jdf did during dt when he went home for 12 episodes. So ya as long as you got way to record the audio and snail mail/electronically send out is pretty simple.

Picked up Figuarts Shinken Red today for 20% off. It came out to about $30 with the coupon so not bad considering it was marked up originally as $34.99.

I'm hoping to get Shinken Gold next.

I really want all the Figuarts released over here and also Gokaiger Figuarts.

Do a google search for TVnihon

In a logical explanation the Shinkengers that were released as exclusives will stay exclusive.

Otherwise it defeats the purpose of being exclusive in the first place if everyone can get it at Walmart or TRU.

Shinken blue, green, yellow and pink were all exclusives

If all the rangers were sold at ToysRUS then that would defeat the purpose of being exclusive

People who payed 60 to 70 dollars would be pretty angry that it's now at ToysRUs for 30 bucks.

Gold Samurai, I would be fine with all the Shinkenger Figuarts being TRU exclusives.

Gold Samurai, they should get over it. TRU are now packing more toys and items that used to be specialty and comic shop type items not long ago.

Also the people that paid premium could just as easily be mad when some stores mark them down which they do. I've gotten some pretty cheap Figuarts at certain places before.

There is also sites to download episodes or uploads over at megaupload and dailymotion. The samurai rangers had a great little preformance with al rooker at the macy's star this year.

I don't think it would be fair to call something exclusive and then have it be sold at ToysRUs for 40 dollars cheaper

Anyways that's what they're doing. Exclusives will stay exclusive.

New figuarts! So far just the three dekaranger/SPD rangers

Power Rangers: Samurai is pretty cool. But my favorite Power Rangers team is still the original five Power Rangers Consisting of Jason, Zack, Billy, Kimberly and Trini.

If TRU releases more of the Figuarts exclusively, how is that not exclusive?

Wal-Mart sometimes does an exclusive wave of DCU. K-Mart has as well. Target and TRU sometimes do DCU exclusive variants. Nothing wrong with this.

I think collector's would be fine with being able to buy great figures like this much cheaper.

I meant the figures that were sold in Japan as exclusives. The ones where you need a middleman to purchase it.

ShinkenRed and Gold were sold normally in Japan. Which is why you see them now at ToysRUS

The others ShinkenBlue,Green,Pink and Yellow were exclusive figures in Japan.

You won't see those figures at ToysRUs or amazon.com

In this interview with a BlueFin rep(The one who distributes figuarts in the US) they said "We don't want Target. We don't want Wal-Mart"

ToysRUs is the only one who can keep the prices at $34.99.

If it were at Target or Walmart the figures would have to certain things left out from them

I mean the fact that some of us paid top dollar for those exclusives. If TRU had released them they'd be easier to get a hold of and more importantly cheaper. Shinkenred is $34.99 right now through TRU. If the rest of the team was released through TRU they'd be the same price. That'd piss people like me off who paid $60 each before shipping for the rest of the damn team.

Likewise these new figures will probably not make it to TRU if all of them are middleman exclusive

Gold Samurai, I'm not talking about Target and Wal-mart dammit! I'm talking about putting the rest in TRU only as exclusives. Doesn't sound like that Blue Fin representative didn't say they wouldn't release more in TRU. They could still be exclusives

You're not making any sense. How were the other Shinken rangers exclusives?

Mine too. That was my childhood.

Yeah, the original seasons of MMPR will always have a big place in my heart. I loved ZEO because it felt like a nice progression of the original series and "taking it to the next level." But after that I kind of lost interest in the show and went off and on with it before tuning in again with Samurai. And now I am watching more of the Japanese sentai as well.

I haven't watched the one hour special yet, but I hear it was rather disappointing as an RPM crossover :( .

Silly question i have is figuarts just a fancy name japan gives for action figures?

Actually vile most fans say it was good. Yes it still had its problems production wise and a little on script. But it turned out to be fairly decent special.

Webhead, Figuarts is a line of collectible action figures Bandai Japan releases.

They are meant to be simple and heroic (hence S.H. Figuarts) representations of famous characters. Figuarts has been expanding a lot lately, it used to be mainly Kamen Rider but now we are also seeing sublines of Figuarts (some with names like D-arts, et. al) with Super Sentai, Mega Man/Rockman, Ultraman, and One Piece, and Dragon Ball Z.

Figuarts are good because they are very faithful and accurate representations of characters from the shows they are made based on. They always come packed with lots of accessories. They are similar to what Marvel Legends was out here.

You're not making any sense. How were the other Shinken rangers exclusives?

They were sold exclusively in Japan. You needed someone in Japan to purchase it for you.

They weren't available through regular online stores like HLJ or Big Bad toy store
