Even though I know it 99% wont happen but I think it is high time that Saban goes back to using 1 cast for several seasons.

That is not going to happen again I don't see. First its cheaper to do cast changes, so you don't land problems with cast wanting more pay and other contract issues. Plus second looking at most themes/stories for seasons since the yrly change happened. The rangers where trained or solely focused in one skill. Like being ninjas in ns, or police in spd, or magic weilders in mf. It just wouldn't really work for plots. Plus then we totally lose the chance of seeing proper teamups between teams.

in other news saban/nick have released first promo for super samurai, which is still unconfirmed/confirmed to be picking up again on feb 18th:

It's been 8 years since JDF has suited up since "Dino Thunder"

For those that haven't been keeping up with what JDF has done. He came back for "Power Ranger's Dino Thunder" in 2004 and frequently manages his Dojos and does MMA

I remember reading about his dojos, and the mma thing. I would love to see him return for gokai adaptation. But isn't totally required for me. With how long he was a ranger, and already has had a few returns. But sweet photo of jason in mmpr green suit.

I am fine with the not using the same rangers for more then one season any way. It gets the repeated plot points out of the way each season quicker

I don't think they have done the team replacement / gets new characters during the mid season since what Zeo / Turbo ?

No need to pro long & repeat the same plot points even more with what Power Rangers sticks with

The series is coming back rebranded as "Power rangers Super Samurai" on February 18th

The promo also let slip the female Samurai Red Ranger that will debut in a future storyline(Sticking close to the Shinkenger storyline)

Silver Stagbuster is actually Gold's robot buddy.


The robot buddy just takes off the buddyRoid parts and reveals the spandex suit underneath, and some of the armor parts transfer to Gold BeetBuster and become his suit.

I've seen that commercial a few times and didn't realize it was her. Also, I disagree that she hasn't aged. She no longer has the baby fat on her cheeks and her neck (for the brief moment it appears) looks old-ish.
