I have said and pointed out its flaws, I not saying samurai doesn't have problems. I just saying I still can find some enjoyment out of the show.

It's hard to find any enjoyment in Samurai without turning your brain off.

The show is just embarassing at this point.


The worst part is that even the action scenes are boring. The 'villians' are a joke. There's no sense of threat.


Even as bad as OO and JF were, they had engaging action scenes. Samurai just badly dubs sentai footage and tosses in as many bad puns as possible.

In the MMPR series, was there ever a episode where the first yellow ranger had a pet mantis and it got hit with ray and became super big and had a fight with um the dinos that became one thing? MegaTron?

Hate Mantises...pure evil...although a 10-15 ft Mantis vs Aliens vs Predator would rock....

I look forward to having MMPR on DVD. If GoKaiger is the next PR series after Samurai, it's a great way to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the franchise.

No, in Superhero Taisen the Gokaigers will henshin into all six forms of Kamen Rider OOO, after he threw them the medals that somehow transformed into Ranger keys. All the Gokaigers are in their corresponding color except for Ahim/GokaiPink, who took the Putoyra form.

Saying it's "huge" just isn't enough.


Shame Kamen Rider/Masked Rider failed in 1995 and failed again in 2008 with Dragon Knight.

I think Superhero Taisen may beat the Legend War we saw in 199 Heroes movie in terms of scale and epic proportion.

So have any of you guys watch akibaranger premire. If so what are your thoughts on it. First I love the cheesy video game like theme song. The sentai tropes where a fun play on things. Villain lady is sexy as hell. The whole delusion thing is interesting. So they are just fake for real or what.

So watching the season finale of syfy monster man reality show. And power rangers just got a nod from the monster man guy. They doing a giant monster/robot man video for devo, and the guy playing the robot hero was a former pr stunt man. Thought that was a cool shoutout.

I am really surprised SHOUT is selling a bigger case on their site since they usually do that and then release the smaller volumes/seasons later on in the year for other retailers.

Considering Season 1 is 60 episodes, I'm fine with it. I just hope they put some type of extras on there(original pilot maybe ) That will be the deciding factor if I buy this or not.

Well it says it is 600 minutes so that is about 30 episodes. So looking at 3 vol. at most for the first season.

Ya with season one it. Makes sense to do volumes for that. Where as other seasons are 32-45 episodes, which would equal out into a 20-24 hrs worth of footage(ie length of standard drama shows) which could/most likely be released in normal full sets.

Better start saving up your pennies because Shout is releasing a 7 season set. MMPR-LG all together. Wasnt expecting them to do that, now that is a complete series.
