Something I enjoy doing before a film comes out is imagining the kinds of things critics will say about it. So I come up with little blurbs that you would see on Rotten Tomatoes once the reviews start coming in. For example, a blurb I would hope to see:
"Hugely entertaining, but with enough genuine character moments to make it something even more."
Obviously that's quite generic, but you get the idea. Or how about a blurb that I fear seeing:
"A comic book movie is only as strong as it's villain, and while Jamie Foxx may be seen as inspired casting, his character arc is hopelessly clichéd and the performance borderline campy."
That sort of thing. Now it's your turn. Write a blurb you hope to see, and one you fear seeing. I look forward to what you come up with. And yes I realize we're a long, long way from the film being released, but it'll be a lot of fun to revisit these predictions once we actually do get reviews. (Hopefully my first thread meets with your approval
