Which Comic Book movies do you think will be the best of 2009?

For me I think it'll go this way...

1. The Watchmen

2. Wolverine

3. Transformers

I guess you can count Transformers as a comic book film, considering it has been in many comics.

Watchmen. I hope. I've never been too keen on the X-Men films and I don't really have any hopes for Wolverine. Transformers was Ok, but just Ok for me.

Watchmen!

aren't there any more for this year?

2009 is going to be a bit of a bore fest, they are all coming out before june, what are we going to do with the last half of the year?

last year we got six, this year we get only 3???

Watchmen and Wolverine. I think Wolverine might make more money than Watchmen seeing as he is more well known around the world. But I think Watchmen will be the better film.

Last year we actually got 7 comic films. Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Hell Boy 2, Wanted, Dark Knight, Punisher: War Zone, and The Spirit.

'08 spoiled us so '09 looks disapointing in comparison I guess. I don't count Transformers as a comic movie as it's origins are in a toy, but if you are going to count Transformers you have to count G.I. Joe too.
What about this Push movie. Is Push a comic? I'm not familiar with it?

i counted hancock and not even the other two (which didn't or haven't come out by 2008 in the uk), we got eight then

Watchmen.. then Wolverine.. then the void

'Push' isn't a comic (though I think DC is planning to lead into a comic)...but it's really just some producer's lame attempt to bring in and temper 'HEROES' fans until Volume 4 starts. That's the impression I got anyway.

Best:
1. Watchmen
2. Wolverine
3. Transformers

My favorite:
1. Wolverine
2. Transformers
3. Watchmen

I think it'll go:

1)Watchmen
2)Transformers:Revenge Of The Fallen
3)Wolverine

But I hope all are good, I just dont trust Fox.

yeah, there's transformers comics out there, but it started out as a toy line, then a cartoon/comic books.

Agreed. I wouldn't count it either, but can see how some might think otherwise. What I find funny though is people that do count Transformers, but for some reason aren't counting G.I Joe when by using the same logic, they have identical paths.

^Transformers have had more comic incarnation than GIJoe have though I think, and the TF comics are actually pretty damn good.

You sure about that? The G.I. Joe that the movie is based on has been around longer..and if you are talking the original G.I. Joe, then A LOT longer and have had many titles. The first comics I actually started collecting were G.I. Joe and those Joe comics from the mid-eighties were great.
Despite that I do still think that it is actually going to be even worse than TF2.

1. Watchmen
2. Wolverine
3. Kick-Ass - I believe its coming out something this year.
4. Transformer 2
5. GI-Joe

I'm more familiar with X-Men and Transformers than Watchmen, but Watchmen looks like gold, pure gold.

1. Watchmen
2. Transformers 2
3. Wolverine (Still don't trust Fox)

4. Wolverine

I agree with The Chris, I expect Wolverine to be bad, I just really hope it does well and rub **** in the faces of the non-believers, because I'd rather we be wrong, than wasting two hours of our valuable time.

..heh, no one thought of that one before :o and GI Joe is a comic book movie..? Or is it a comic book movie the same way Transformers is..? Meaning, loosely..

TF has had a large amount of comic incarnations, G1, G2, Beast Wars, Armada and more, plus the TF comics began pretty much the same time as the cartoon.
