I wonder if this will affect their online channels as a business. I hope for positive outcome if there will be any.

Anyone here willing to be the first to share notes between this announced service and Netflix?

Isn't the point of YT to not be tv?

Those wacky millenials only watch tv online, so they're gonna get that hipster money.

I don't see the point of this.

Internet media is already taking over as the most popular source of content compared to television, why make this sorta switch?

Kind of hilarious with Trump and Co doing everything they can to gut net neutrality which means all these people trying to "cut chords" are going to be paying out the ass with data limits on their internet bills for their homes.

If that doesn't sound like fun then maybe give your congressman a call and let them know how you feel about that....

The problem is many under 35's just aren't interested in regular TV anymore, so I don't think this is going to solve the problems these networks are facing.

YouTube TV offers Live TV streaming from more than 40 Live TV channels like ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, regional sports networks and dozens of popular cable networks.
A YouTube TV membership will cost $35 a month and there are no commitments—you can cancel anytime.

    Which language this support?

It's not a millenial/hipster thing. People consume TV differently now. It's no longer common to talk about last night's show at work anymore. People just binge on shows, watching them in their own time. Our lives no longer have to revolve around making sure we don't miss our favorite shows.

I switched to Youtube TV earlier this year. Time to look for another one.
