Preschooler escapes school and attempts to walk home

Very negligent of the school.

Simply unacceptable.
My tax dollars go to schools so teachers can do their goddamn jobs.
Unacceptable.

I don't get the 'Tom & Jerry are rolling in their graves' part.

This is very unacceptable. The school should have been more careful watching all the preschoolers.

As a teacher myself, I think I need to point out there are people who are incompetent in every profession. And calling someone who supervises preschoolers a "teacher" is IMO a bit of a stretch.

I wish I could have pulled a stunt like that when I was his age.

Almost sounds like a case of Escape from Alcatraz. The kid must've been dying to get out of there.

He escaped during nap time. The teachers should have been watching all the preschoolers as they slept.

My soon to be 4 year old daughter attends an early intervention preschool because of her autism. They are certainty teachers there.

They daycare center, however, not so much. And she did try an escape by crawling under two fences.

Who would name their child 'Alfie'?

She should've named him Stormageddon, Dark Lord of All!

Seriously, Alfie is usually just short for Alfred.

While I'm ashamed of how negligent the school was, I'm also a little impressed that this kid managed to find his way home from a new place at the age of 3. At the very least, his mother isn't doing a bad job if her son is that attentive. Also, that doorbell must've been positioned very low.

What did the kid do? Take someone's crayons and go on the run?

Is the hunt still on for this junior fugitive?
