Ok, I know a lot of shows on ABC Family get a bad rap, and deservedly so for some of the absolute crap they are (Secret Life, I'm looking at you!), but trust me when I say this show is AWESOME.

Yes, yes, it's pretty behind for a thread to just be getting started now, as tonight is the "summer finale" for season three, which means it's the mid-season break, but I just think this show needs to be given more exposure around here.

Don't think that just because this show is on ABC Family that it is at all tame. Some of this **** that goes down on here, some network shows don't touch that often. People getting attacked and killed or almost killed several times. Extremely cruel and creepy pranks being pulled by the mysterious A. Twists and turns abound that you almost never see coming until right when it happens that most shows wish they could pull off.

A brief history of the show for newbies: Four friends reunite a year after their other friend, Allison went missing. Shortly after, Allison's body is found, and the friends start receiving mysterious and threatening texts from someone calling themselves "A". A goes on to torture each of the four girls through various secrets that each one of them are keeping, and they have to work together to find out who A is and how to stop them from ruining their lives, as well as try to discover who murdered their friend Allison.

As I said, tonight is the mid-season 3 finale, and we learn who another member of "Team A" is. I won't spoil it for any newbies who want to try and catch up, and I HIGHLY recommend it if you can, but we already know who one A is after last season's finale, but there's also several more out there, ready to pick up where the others left off. So, who does everyone else think could be the next A? The creator is promising two huge twists tonight, so buckle up!

Except, you kind of already did. Since for a long time, they (and the audience) thought 'A' was just one person. :D

But I didn't spoil their name! :p That was my point. Plus, that's just kinda something that not that long into the show, the audience kinda figures there has to be more than one person, especially if they want it to continue after one A is revealed.

I LOVE this show. The best show on ABCFamily and better than most of the shows on TheCW.

Hanna is my #1

Hanna? Methinks Spencer is better. At least she does things and is being proactive. Sure, she's wrong 99% of the time but she certainly gets 'A' for effort.

That said, the best character is Mona. By. FAR!

Aria is the only one who doesnt really do anything related to A. Hanna spent half of the first season trying to find out who A was which lead A to going to extremes to make sure she didnt. Then Spencer took over majority of the A issues. But Hanna still does plenty.

Emily sure has gotten her fair share of A issues as well. The massage, the spiked muscle cream, and especially the central mystery of this season.

Ya I know, just saying that Aria is the only one out of the 4 that isnt as involved in finding out who A is or even targeted by A.

Which is interesting since apparently there's some BIG theories that [blackout]Aria[/blackout] is a part of Team A.

Ya but as interesting and surprising as that would be, I would HATE that to death.

Wow we actually have a thread over this now? Didn't know there was that many people on the Hype that liked it. I have also thought the same as Specter but as a multiple personality type thing.

[blackout]Toby[/blackout]!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!!!

Did NOT see that one coming.

[blackout]Toby[/blackout]!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!!!

Did NOT see that one coming.

Somehow, I doubt it is as it seems. No way, we, the viewers, get to find out the identity of one of the perpetrators before the Liars do.

I betcha it is some sort of mislead by the show's creators. I reckon [blackout]Toby[/blackout] will be doing some really sketchy stuff or there will be a lot of suspicion thrown this character's way, all of which meant to convince that [blackout]Toby[/blackout] is part of the A-Team. Only to be revealed that the character is not and has a legitimate excuse for wearing a black hoodie and conspiring with [blackout]Mona[/blackout].

Well they did say in an interview that new!A didn't have ulterior motives do looks like they are bad. But I just wonder when they joined the group. Though is this A the one that has been threatening them as much.

Though I was hoping that Mona was the one that would've saved Emily and basically betray master A

Probably he's just infiltrated the A-team (with Jenna's help, maybe) to discover A+'s identity.

ABC Family has ordered a fourth season of Pretty Little Liars, the network announced Thursday. The 24-episode season will debut in mid-2013.

For those of you who can't wait until then, never fear! A special Halloween episode of PLL will air Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 8/7c as part of ABC Family's "13 Nights of Halloween." The second half of Season 3 will then return in January 2013. For the seriously impatient, there's always Pretty Dirty Secrets, a short-form web series to help tide viewers over while we wait to return to Rosewood.

Happy they got another season! Cw really needs to take a note out of ABC familys book about how to run a successful network. Part of that involves getting quality show runners.

Halloween special tonight!

Season starts back up Jan 8 as well.

Who in the HELL was that supposed to be at the end????

Flashback showing allison's hand coming out after being buried.Hinting Allison
may not be dead.Or at least someone had to come finish her off more later

If you check on the books
The one who was found dead was actully Allison's twin sister courtney who took allison's place and was one the liars were friends with. The real Allison became second A.In Books Mona was killed after being found out.The one who Mona does bidding of could be Courtney or real Allison depending on which one was suspose to have been killed

"Mona is back, Toby is in black and Byron may be wack." That's the mantra that Pretty Little Liars executive producer Oliver Goldstick came up with while planning Season 3B.

"This is a game-changer for us because we've never had a parent who was really a suspect," Goldstick told TVGuide.com.

Although there was a death (RIP Garrett), the return of the creepy mask and a kidnapping (poor Aria on the show's Halloween special, the biggest turn of events was the seed Garrett planted that implicated Aria's dad Byron (Chad Lowe) in Alison's murder. In the shady police officer's final moments, he told Spencer (Troian Bellisario) that he witnessed Bryon and Alison (Sasha Pieterse) fighting right before she went missing. When the show returns on Jan. 8 (8/7c, ABC Family), Aria (Lucy Hale) will not be ready to face the fact that her dad might not be who she thinks he is.

But Byron's possible culpability isn't the only major revelation the girls will deal with this season. At some point, they will learn that Spencer's boyfriend Toby (Keegan Allen) is, in fact, part of the "A team." Although the summer season finale's reveal was stunning, Goldstick maintains that the signs were there all along. "We're just returning to who Toby was in Episode 102 and 103. When he first came back to Rosewood, he was dark, he was Boo Radley, and the girls were in fear of him, what he knew and what he could do. So he has an axe to grind. If you really look back at those first episodes, you'll say this is the Toby from Season 1. We're back to that person -- this is who he is."

So what can viewers expect from our main girls Aria, Spencer, Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Hanna (Ashley Benson) as they continue to be tormented by "A"? We break it down below.

Aria
"Ezria has the biggest hurdle they've ever faced," Goldstick says about Aria and Ezra (Ian Harding). "Ezra having a child, [Aria hiding it from him], and his discovery of it will really put a large obstacle in this relationship because now he's not dealing with hiding [his relationship with Aria]; he's dealing with a mature issue. Aria also has to deal with the fact that Ezra had a life before her and it's not just another woman -- this could tear up the relationship in the end." And don't think the "A team," won't let this one go. Expect Aria to be confronted with this secret she's keeping in the first episode back.

Hanna
How will Hanna handle Mona (Janel Parrish), her ex-BFF who turned out to be "A," back in school? "Of all the PLLs, Hanna does want so badly to give Mona the benefit of the doubt," Goldstick says. "Hanna might put out a hand towards Mona and she might get bit and she might need stitches. She might be sorry she gave more than a fingernail." Ouch.

Emily
"Emily ... stumbles upon some Alison revelations that give her more of an active role in pursuing the mystery of what happened to her that summer," Goldstick says. "She stumbles upon something that opens up a whole new world about Alison, a portal to Alison's psychology and what she was doing that summer."

Spencer
"This is a devastating season for Spencer," Goldstick says. "She comes from a family where you really can't trust what they say and no one is really honest and now she's [been betrayed] by the one person she gave all of her trust to, Toby." And although Spencer tries to warn her half-brother Jason (Drew Van Acker) about getting close to Mona, he too may turn on her (and look awfully suspicious by the end of the premiere). "The girls are kept guessing with Jason for a long time," Goldstick adds. "Something is revealed later on in the season that will clear up Jason a lot and what his motivation is, but for right now he's someone to be wary of."

Are you excited for the return of Pretty Little Liars?

I want Hanna to get back into the A game in investigative mode so spencer can have a break.

Anything between Aria and Ezra Is snore worthy for me.Aria Is only watchable with her parents and other liars and when It doesn't Ezra.

Anytime they have allison flashbacks It makes show better especilly since Sasha Pieterse has become my favorate actress on show.

Specer Is my favorate of 4 main girls but the more they prolong her not realzing Toby Is part of A team the less smart the writers make her.As for Jason If they are going In direction of books like I have speculated they are his possable Involvement with Mona makes perfect sense.
