Like the new trailer says this movie is like Superbad but on crack lol.

Saw the trailer attached to Chronicle, looks like it could be a fun time at the movies.

Saw this yesterday and posted a review in my sig!

It was good, just...don't expect a great deep film. It is there simply to enjoy the show and it is intriguing to see what happens next. It is no SUPERBAD or Animal House!

I keep thinking these commercials are for Chronicle until the little guy pops out of the oven.

Why are the leads wearing ugly mid-90's gear? Sleeveless sweater vests and striped polos??

Looks like a generic high school party movie, one we've seen a hundred times before.

By the way Spideyfan93, maybe you can answer this question, why do you and countless other people on YouTube feel the need to make a dramatic cut after each of your sentences or thoughts? It's something I've wondered about for a while now, why can't you just look at the camera and state your thoughts without the need to make some kind of cut in the video.

Because ultimately using cuts are necessary and most of the time they enhance the actual video. There are many different styles to utilize but I like just spitting out all my thoughts in about 20 to 30 minutes followed by cutting it and making it an entertaining 5 to 6 minute review.

It's actually rather difficult to just upload a quality review in one take. When you're talking to yourself/camera you hit a lot of pauses and awkward thinking moments because you're thinking of what you want to talk about next.

And the cutting style is what I like best. Just taking inspiration from the editing and layouts of more well known critics on Youtube.

Now seeing the TV spots for this. I'm on the fence if I'll go see it or not, it looks like it could be entertaining.

I think this is going to epicly bomb. It looks so void of everything and the promo campaign is comparing it to other franchises, which is the easiest way to know it will suck.

It only cost 12 million to make, so I don't see it bombing. Being an awful movie? You bet.

Dammit $12 million? It won't be number 1 and I doubt even number 2 this weekend.

My friend saw this last night at a screening and really enjoyed it. He was skeptical of the movie before seeing it but came back saying nothing but good things about it. He told me the movie really has no plot, its basically just a story about 3 kids throwing a party that just goes out of control. There is also a love subplot thrown in but he said it wasn't all that interesting. He says's its a movie to watch to have fun and see all the crazy stuff that happens. Its mostly for the high school and college age crowd ( teens and early 20 year olds like me 24 and my friend is 23 ) so if your not in that demo then you probably wouldn't like it too much. My friend also told me that it isn't as good as say Superbad but its still alot of fun to see in theaters with friends and/or a sold out crowd. I think I will see this based on how hyped my friend was after seeing it. Also, the soundtrack to the movie is pretty awesome.

I think it will be in the top 4 at least. Lorax is coming out this week so that will probably be number 1 since its a kids movie. But other than that, there really isn't anything else coming out this week. Tyler Perry's flick might hold on to a top spot this weekend so I could see this movie coming in 3rd or maybe even second place. So you never know.. people didn't think Paranormal Activity would make a lot of money but it did.

I don't see the movie being a hit but I see it being very far from a bomb. It'll easily make back it's budget for sure.

Some of my movie buff friends have caught an advanced screening, and they loved it.

No thanks

Your loss, I'm somewhat involved with it though so I can't wait lol... Still wondering whose names I'll recognize - that's always cool!

Plus everyone I've heard from, who have managed to see it, say they liked it and want to see it again when it hits theaters.

I enjoyed it a good amount. Some good laughs and music. Midnight showing is the way to see this movie.

One of the best crowds I've been in. They snuck in beer and bud and the theater literally became part of the party.

7.5/10

Saw the trailer for this tonight, actually looks like a pretty funny movie. Got no high expectations though.

I'd go into it just expecting a silly and amusing ride, nothing more. It looks to be just that, a fun way to kill some boredom.
