PS2 Memory Card Problems

I just bought Ghost Rider today, and when I tried to save it, it said "Save Failed!". What's broken? My Memory Card, or the actual PS2?

The Ghost Rider game sucked, your PS2 probably just doesn't wanna play that crappy game anymore.

EDIT: It was the memory card. Thread closed. Sucks that I have to beat all my games again.
