I never had any problems playing DTS movies on my {slim}PS2. Now it doesn't seem to work. Any way to fix this?

Is your reciever on DTS also? Are you using a fiber optic cable?

{this might sound kind of stupid}Usually I would just plug the yellow white and red cords into the tv and it would work.

That's not DTS sound then...you can't get DTS sound from a tv alone.

Doesn't PS2 have a thing built in? Because it did work.

I don't remember,my PS2 was stolen this past Halloween,so I just replaced it with a PS3. which has every audio code under the sun.

I'd be surpised if PS2 has DTS built in. From my experiences, DTS audio tracks have not played on my cheap DVD player or my Dell laptop. It's only available on my main home theatre set.
