PS3 console case question

Hey people,
I want to repair the exterior of my PS3(fat). There are some deep & minor scratches/scuff marks on the face cover and bottom of the PS3. I'm not sure what's the correct term, but what kind of plastic paste and type of sandpaper I should be using?

This is going to sound crazy, but the best way to get rid of scratches is to use a product named Quixx (http://www.quixxusa.com/). They sell it at WalMart for about $10.00. Several people I know have used it and it works great. Its' super easy and cheap.

Thanks for the suggestion. Which is better? Quixx or Meguiar's Plastx cleaner polish?

I personally don't know anyone who has used Meguiar's, but it looks to work well also after a quick search.
