PS3 Price Cut. Sony one ups MS yet again

Sounds like a major bargain (if Blu-Ray is what they say it is) and if this price cut follows through to the US of A (most likely it will).

A better machine all around than the 360, and cheaper than the 360 launch price. Backwards compatibility to boot, go Sony.

Let's not get excited yet buddy. This price cut as of now is a Japan Exclusive & I hope that if there are any plans of giving other countries the price cut they announce it before pre orders start

They'll probally cut the price in the US also. And it will probally be rounded to $400.00 for the 20 GB and $500.00 for the 60 GB. An acceptable price if you ask me.

Well, we in the UK tend to get screwed over when it comes to pricing.

They'll probably increase the price here to cover the decrease elsewhere.

Considering that the Playstation 3 has a blu-ray player in it (when a normal one goes for $1000), I consider it to be a resonable price. Anything over is outrageous though if you ask me.

Aren't the PS3 going to be region free? You could just import one if this price cut doesn't extend to us.
